BEWARE! Lake Air installed a total HVAC system just over 5 years ago. We had them out for maintenance and to check the fan. The tech said we needed a whole new system costing over $4,000. We are very part time in Palm Desert and hardly ever use the air conditioner. We got a second opinion from another air conditioning company. He said there was nothing wrong with our system and didn't understand why it should be replaced. He changed out the Freon and charged $150 and was there over 3 hours just to make sure everything was working. So, if you have Lake Air come out, get a second opinion before you

One star only. One of the tech or sales manager Frank stopped by at our hotel in DHS and offer his services, which we said ok , we will call you if we need anything. One week after I called and ask him if they can send tech to put a Freon , because other company did estimate and they reported that everything is ok , just need a Freon. Frank said yes we can do it, I will send tech over today. Technician, that he send came check something , talk to our maintenance guy and left. Our maintenance reported to me that there tech said its a fan problem, that needs to be fixed before he can put any Freon
