Owner Kyle Sizemore carried a visible handgun while inside our new home. He Underbid the job only to not finish. A 4 week job turned into 10 weeks. He is aggressive, swears, and was a horrible person to work with.
Stay clear if this outfit, they only have 2 workers: the owners elderly father & a person they found in line.
We are fuming a complaint with the BBB & Oregon Construction Contractors Board.

Our house looks amazing! 1859 Painting did an incredible job; and they finished ahead of schedule. We live in a classic tudor style house in NE Portland. There are several materials on the facade (brick, wood, beams) which made painting challenging and risky. 1859 Painting handled these challenges professionally. They made sure the job was completed to our complete satisfaction before completion. Also, I work from home so I was here the hole time they were paining, and they were very pleasant to have around.

Excellent Service all around. We had a large project and were very worried about the job being completed on time so we could move into our new home. The gentlemen worked early and late hours to make sure that became a reality. They were very thorough and left zero mess. Professional and a pleasure to do business with.
