You can become energy independent when you pair your SunPower Equinox system with SunVault Storage for full control of the energy your home generates. While your SunPower system produces energy, the excess is sent to your SunVault Storage and/or sells it back to the grid.
An Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) is a device that uses a vapor compression cycle to absorb heat from one section and inject it into another area to cool or heat your home. Humboldt County's mild climate makes heating pumps, which are about 300% efficient, ideal for extracting heat below 0 degrees Fahrenheit without using backup electric heaters.

Hot air rises but heat can travel in any direction. Radiant energy transfer is caused by a warm surface yielding its heat to a cooler surface. By controlling both the air temperature and the radiant transfer, radiant panel systems deliver an unsurpassed comfort. Whenever there is a temperature difference between two surfaces, both surfaces will attempt to equalize.

The folks were very responsive, patient with my questions and knowledgable. Importantly, they arrived for appointments on time, were efficient and offered continuing support and instruction. They did not push the product like a timeshare salesman which I have experienced elsewhere...I chose them in part based on good reviews from others on Next-Door (Northern Humboldt County one on FB) This is too important to accept a "bargain product & service". I chose to go ahead and pay for quality. I am absolutely happy with this choice after 6 months- Cindy S.

Ben came out and checked my panels and controller that were in place when I bought my home. My controller was reporting an earth fault. He found several issues, and promised to provide an estimate to repair those items. After a month with no contact, I sent an email reminding him that I hadn't heard from him. I received a response the same day from Julie, promising that they would "take care of this as soon as possible". That was over two weeks ago. Guess I'll shop for someone else who works on solar.

Ben and crew just completed the installation of 17 solar panels on our roof. Ben was great to work with, explained everything, kept us informed along the way and did all the on-line P.G. & E. interconnection paperwork for us (we just had to sign). We had to put a new roof on before the installation and he did a great job coordinating with the roofing company to install the mounts. Ben's crew is also great, kept us informed of what they were working on and answered any questions we had - everyone seems to love what they are doing. System is up and running and we are having fun monitoring
