My name is Mitch Renz, I am born and raised here on the North Coast and now I am raising my children here. I began working in the HVAC field in 2003, and in 2017 decided to take a chance on myself and my family and start my own company. Mitch came to repair our gas insert, through home shield. He went above and beyond to make sure that our fireplace worked properly. We have since had him back to replace all of our ducting and run new ducting to our kitchen. They are very professional, on time and did a great job.

My gas fireplace stove has been inoperative since before christmas. Trying to find someone in humboldt to service it was a nightmare and I went through 4 different contacts before I found these guys. They get 5 stars for being available promptly, for showing up, for their punctuality, for their professionalism, and for getting my fireplace working again. Literal saints. Would recommend 10 out of 10.

Recently, my wife and I had our faulty blower module diagnosed and replaced by Redwood Mechanical which is located in Eureka, CA. From the moment we contacted Redwood Mechanical, our customer service, installation and follow up was professional and timely. When the installation was completed, everything was in working order, and the vicinity was clean and in place. Mitch and his team came out to install a new unit and do some ductwork for us. Mitch has superb customer service skills, my husband and I were very impressed by his knowledge and level of professionalism. They did an excellent job, and got our whole system up and running in a couple of days.

Unfortunately I had the most unpleasant experience with this company. Mitch came and purported to have fixed my freestanding gas fireplace and it worked for all of three days. He was hired through my American home Shield company which I was later informed that they did not cover this service. Being a deaf person, I requested a text or email explaining the problem and what was done to fix it which this request was never fulfilled at the time. When the fireplace stopped working and I called back I had to wait a week. Mitch then contacted me and told me I had to pay out-of-pocket which I wasn’t
