I would not use this company. They came in and did the job very quickly and left a big mess. I picked up more than 50 nails on the patio. When asked to come clean up all the shingles left in an ivy bed, they never came. When there was a question about one of the roofs, I called every week for 6 consecutive weeks, they never came. I ended up hiring another roofer to look at the problem. The owner is a slick talker but there is no follow-up once the job is done.

Some years ago we hired Roofers Edge to install some attic insulation (blown-in, specifically). This spring we hired them to re- side our house, replacing old, worn brown siding with a better quality vinyl (medium green). The crew did a great job, finished within a week and a half. We were very pleased with the work; so, when Kevin Blakeman of Roofers Edge offered us a great price to replace our roof (which we had planned to replace within the next couple of years, anyway), we jumped at it. A crew of seven removed the old roof and installed the new one within the day.

They don't stand behind their work. Don't use them. The job was to fix a leak.They came when they said they would and seemed like a good job. Then about 9 mos later, it started leaking again. They wouldn't respond to my calls. They acted like the job they did was not about the leak. They would not do anything to remedy their shoddy work. Their suggestion was a rubber roof for $7,000. Like I'd ever give them more money. They are liars and cheats.

Called them to clear the snow off my roof which is 25 feet up. There was 13 inches of snow on the ground and they showed up in a couple of hours of calling and they had the roof done in two hours and cleaned up driveway and sidewalks and deck. Did a good job of piling the snow and were very efficient. Would highly recommend them for this work.

We ended up not using them for the repairs we needed. We received 5 evaluations and quotes from a variety of roofing and siding companies, and they were the only one to charge us to come out and evaluate what needs to be done. $150 just for an evaluation and a quote--no other company charged me anything for that. More importantly, no one told me this before they came. I would have respectfully declined and moved on to other companies. Kevin, the owner, was a very nice guy and happy to deal with me. Very easy to get a hold of. But the prices for the repairs we needed were well over what I was quoted

Our roof was in bad shape. We hired Kevin and his crew after meeting with Kevin. All the workers were amazing from the carpenters- super Dave, the painter Junior- a one man show unbelievable and all the workers that replaced our roof in one day. Everyone from the top down to the girls that did the clean up work. The transformation is beautiful and our neighbors have already complimented our house. We love it and are thrilled! Ron B, the estimator came out on time and was friendly and efficient. Work crew for siding and gutter work were also friendly and cleaned up after the job was completed. So far, so good. We'll see how the downspouts hold up over the next few seasons. Kevin, the owner, could have been more timely in his communications and more proactive when the crew was delayed, although he admitted this and reduced the overall price of the work.

Kevin - Either you truly do not remember or you are "snowing" the people reading the yelp reviews. However connecting wires to the solar panels were in fact disconnected during your roof replacement. If you are having such a hard time remembering the customer, you can certainly speak to your friend at Eastern Solar to get a better recollection. Not response is needed at this time!

Kevin, owner of Roofers Edge, is super responsive during the sales process but hard to reach after. The did fast work getting our new roof and gutter installed. Unfortunately they did not install the drip edge correctly. Instead of leaving a gap so the water drips into the gutter, it was installed tight against the fascia board. Every time it rains we get a significant amount of water coming in between the gutter and the fascia board and now have damage to the fascia and likely siding and other wood since the water is running down the house. I strongly recommend thinking twice before using

This rating is as good as it gets! I had a handful of contractors look at my (large) roof and their estimate was very competitive. However our meeting with the owner, Kevin Blakeman, sealed the deal. He was on time, personable, and very professional. When we wanted to see a specific color option (that wasn't in the book), Kevin had his foreman deliver a full package of the shingle so we could place pieces on and around the roof. Roofer's Edge delivered on time and exceeded our expectations. We counted 13 people the first day and they were done in two. Kevin and his team are a pleasure

Kevin and his team redid our whole house, siding, gutters, windows, lights, paint, and doors. He is always available and communicates. The project took longer than expected but it was because we ordered custom doors and made changes which he was receptive about. His price for the job was quite reasonable and we were able to use cedar impression shakes for the whole house. Highly recommended. All his employees speak English and are very professional. So not sure what the other reviewer is talking about. They are quite skilled and competent.

Terrible job. Basically comes in with 10 unskilled workers and tries to complete everything within a day. Shingles were uneven and items listed in the contract he didn't complete. Can't talk to any of the workers as they don't speak any english. If there's a problem then Kevin comes by after its too late. Basically tries to convince you that's how it's supposed to be with all his experience. He doesn't know anything about laying shingles, just knows sales. Damaged downspouts and sides of the house. Didn't even fix. I called him repeatedly after and he

Had a 1pm appointment with Kevin for an estimate. At 1:15, still a no show, I call and he informs me that hes still 30 minutes away at another appointment.
I get it that stuff happens, but why the 1 star:
- I had called/spoken to him at 11AM to confirm the appointment
- He insisted multiple times I be there in person for him to do the estimate. Me sprinting back home from work for the meeting contributes to the frustration

Kevin and his team did a great job replacing the roof on our home. They were able to fit us into their schedule on very short notice, and did most of the work in one day. The roofers were very conscientious about cleaning up after they were finished. Kevin is very responsive and knowledgeable, and worked with us to select the right products for our particular job. On top of all that, our new roof looks great!

I showed him a rebate coupon they had in the papers and even though my siding job is not big enough to qualify for the promotion, he prorated the size of the job and took off a few hundred dollars. That was good.
However what impressed me most was Ken's attention to detail in making sure everything we discussed was documented. My fiance was so impressed she decided we use them so we signed the contract.

We had a serous leak due to ice dams this past winter. Unlike other contractors, Kevin, the owner, was hesitant to just rip out the old roof without properly determining the cause of the leak. After realizing the source of the issue he made so recommendations and gave me a vary fair estimate. The project was finished in one day and the final bill was very close was what we initially agreed upon. I'll be a returning customer.
