I have been a preferred customer with this company (originally Southwest Air Conditioning) since 2003.
Last week my heating system broke down last Wednesday. Even though I have a contract with them for emergency 24 hour emergency service, no one answered the phones nor were there any way to contact them for over 5 days. They shut down their phone system and enjoyed a long Thanksgiving day holiday not returning to work until the following Monday. I was without heating and was forced to contact another company to do

Outstanding work done, value received for $$ paid. Their methodology, people, tools, attention to detail is the best I have seen in the LV market. These folks were recommended to me from other professionals -- I see why!! They reworked HVAC duct work in my existing home to resolve airflow and temp issues I have had. They were honest, affordable and efficient. We had problems with another company (referred through home warranty) scheduling a large time window and not showing up. We called Hal Mechanical, they showed up the next morning (and offered late night emergency service) and took care of our AC problem. They have excellent customer service and actually care about people. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again, or refer any of my family/friends.

Absolutely horrible service! Air conditioner is a year old and has gone out 4 times..... They have claimed to "fix" the issue and yet it's still not working properly. My 4 children and small dog have been stuck in an 88-90 degree house. Called last night and they stated we would have to pay $218 for an off day service.... ridiculous! Was supposed to get a call from owner today, at 3:30 my husband finally calls back and they say a tech will call us.... 15 mins later we get a call and are told again it's $218 for service on an off day. Yesterday, for 4 + hours, technicians Dan and Jerry worked on getting our a/c ready for our summer heat. We were impressed with their professionalism and their mannerisms. Since our problem was involved, they informed us during the repair process as to what they were doing and the possible cost. They went through every effort to look over our warranty to see what costs were already covered. That was greatly appreciated. They knew what they were doing and, as an aside, they cleaned up afterwards. We highly recommend Hal to anyone looking for or needing their a/c system to function properly.
