This company is OUTSTANDING!!!! Our house flooded in March. We received a beaming recommendation for Altec and hired them to repair everything. From day one they have gone above and beyond to repair our home… and serve our family. The super intendant in charge of our project, Shawn, was always available to answer questions, always gracious and helpful and led with integrity. The contractors were just as great, their work is beautiful and high quality. This company has been a HUGE blessing to our family. I was very pleased with the work. Great customer service. They made sure I was happy throughout the whole process.

Used once before and they were awesome. Tried to use them again and was literally dismissed. They came out for an estimate, said I would get it within 48 hours. Had to call them for it 6 days later. Got the estimate, was decent. Submitted to insurance, got approved, and called to schedule. Got a call back saying never mind. Estimate was too low and not worth their time so they changed their mind. Now I'm screwed with no contractor and my insurance company thinking I'm trying to pull a fast one. Totally unprofessional and will NOT recommend them.

The company worked on my house for car accident repair. It's been a while (about 7 years). Talked to Jill about water leak and noises coming out of the area. Jill was very rude over the phone - kept on talking over me and not allowing me to finish my sentence. The problem remains. The work is NOT automated so she can not see the files(?) That's incredible in this day and age!

We used Altec for a fire damage restoration. They did not stick to their original time line, the materials and craftsmanship was sub-par. We had to contact them regarding multiple areas of concern (pain color, completion, fence, drywall). The most troubling of the whole ordeal was when we came home and found the stucco contractor in our backyard-- that had a locked gate. He jumped the fence-- we have dogs -- completely unprofessional. We still have work that was never completed and just wrote them a check as we were tired of waiting. They were not recommended by our insurance company, and I know

The entire experience with Altec was wonderful. Professional and meticulous work. We had a roof leak that caused drywall damage and our downstairs floors needing to be replaced. They were easy to get a hold of if I had any questions.

Altec was on my recommended for my homeowner's insurance claim and I am very glad I used them. My kitchen floorboards had water damage so they needed to be replaced. Altec did a great job matching them and now my floor looks as good as new! I also had some exterior stucco cracks on the side of my house I wanted repaired. The crew was on time, friendly, and professional. They did a great job with that as well and would definitely recommend for any type of home construction/repair.

I've been delighted with Altec's performance on three different water-damage repair projects. My husband and I needed two sets of French doors replaced after damage to our house that happened after we bought but before we moved in (from another geographic area). Our insurance company sent out an estimator. We asked her for contractor recommendations. When we called, one contractor said they only did much larger repair jobs than ours. The other company was Altec. Their estimate was very close to the insurance company's. We weren't very familiar with contractors in this area. We only later discovered that the Sacramento area has a number of companies who specialize in door sales

Altec replaced my front door after the firemen kicked in my door thinking my house might be on fire. They were able to get the door that we wanted within the amount the insurance company was forking over for the replacement. The installers were professional and courteous. They were also on time. Everything looks great and works well.

I gave them an old key to set the locks and had to have them come out again to readjust the locks for a better key. The boss himself came and was also courteous and on time.

I would use their service again and would recommend them to anyone.

I recommend Altec Construction and Brent Dorey wholeheartedly. The first home I ever bought was burned down by a renter and needed pretty much a complete rebuild.

I got 4 bids and went with Altec because I could tell that Brent was good at design and really cared about each job. As Brent explained what he did, talked about previous jobs, and shared design concepts with me, I could sense his humble pride and enthusiasm.

My Mother-In-Law had just arrived the night before. I jumped out of bed and put a load of laundry in our GE clothes washer, then jumped in the shower. By the time I got out there was an inch and a half of water on the floor upstairs and the ceiling was leaking in the library downstairs.
After Restoration Management had demolished our library and a good chunk of the second floor, I felt like Tom Hanks in the Money Pit. Fortunately, the guest room where she was staying, the Master bedroom and the kitchen were all still livable. My insurance company recommended Altec Construction, Inc. They told me
