With a history dating back to 1933, we have the historical construction data, experience and resources to help owners with their conceptual costs and project scope decisions throughout the various design stages.
Urban projects have unique needs and requirements. We consider site location, conditions of the surrounding area, traffic flow of materials, employees and equipment. Being a considerate neighbor and having a safe worksite are critical. This often means working with tight site conditions while maintaining a project schedule.
We are an employee-owned firm, led by a seasoned and well-respected executive team with a shared commitment for taking care of our clients' needs and deep appreciation for each other. Michael Rankin has worked in the construction business since the age of 14, when he was digging ditches and pouring concrete.

I met Lizabeth Theiss with Crain several years ago and have worked with her and Crain Construction on a couple of website development projects.
The most recent is the creation of the new mobile friendly Crain Construction website that was launched back in August.
Lizabeth and the Crain Construction team are all awesome to work with, and make these projects easy for our team. They listen to our suggestions and have their own creative solutions that easily work into the mix.
