Repair text showed up on timeDiagnosed problem inform me part was $697 for part Had to go pick it up at shop they only had a universal one so was going to change me 99 dollar service call 697.00 dollars for part ,researched part online original part at several places 71.00 dollars. Called burkett office to have someone inform me they have overhead cost and the price included labor. 4 screws 6 electronically connections ! I understand business need to make money and charge more for parts they buy wholesale but to charge 700 percent plus service charge is outrages

install in the home. Spoke with the receptionist to set the appointment up, she was very
polite, I asked how much to have a tech come out and give us an est. for repairs, she
said it would be $99 for the service diagnostics and if we needed a cleaning it would be
an additional $79. So we went ahead and set the appointment up, I have some
background in HVAC so I am somewhat familiar with the operation of the system and
had done a couple of checks the night before and iterated to the receptionist and the
tech

Positive: Professionalism, Responsiveness
First guy came out, was courteous. Figured out the issue, then another guy, a maintenance supervisor came out. He was very knowledgeable, fixed the problem without a costly repair but we bought another system to be more efficient anyway. Best guys in the business as far as I'm concerned.

Made a repair appointment because they had installed and have serviced this unit in the past. Tech came out and said everything was working fine and it just needed topped off with freon. Said they didn't carry R22 and I needed a new system. Had to pay for a service call. Made a few more calls and everyone carries R22. I had HVAC folks lined up to help. Its been working for several days now. Guess all they wanted was to make quick service call $ and maybe sell a new system to a costumer not need a new system. I can tolerate a lot but will never accept being lied to.

My family business was in need of A/C repair. We narrowed it down to the unit not having coolant. I gave Burkett HVAC-R Service a call since that was the only number my family had in their contacts for A/C needs. Receptionist on the phone was nice, and was able to schedule me an appointment last Friday @3pm. Technician never showed up, I contacted their office 45 minutes after the scheduled time to see if the tech was behind schedule. Receptionist did say they were on a job, but the technician goes to all of the appointments set for that day. No one showed up... No phone call... Nothing. I called

Burkett installed my heating/cooling system in 2001. They have faithfully repaired it annually since then. (Is that a good thing?) However, this year the auxiliary heat quit working. They said they would come on Tuesday. They did not, so my wife called. They came on Wednesday. They did not have the part needed and promised to come back tomorrow. It is now the following Monday and we have no report from them. We are approaching 2 weeks of burning a propane grill for heat.

After some issues with a different service company, I called Burkett. The dispatch/call person was great, scheduled the appointment for me and had someone out in a reasonable amount of time. Turned out there were no real issues with the system (though the other service company said there were), just needed to adjust a couple things (and I needed to learn a couple things about the system). All in total the service rep was excellent, answered all my questions, educated me on some aspects that were unclear and I was up and running in 15 minutes. GREAT experience. Thank you!!!

I was referring to Burkett to make modifications to my Kitchen vent diameter. Mike came out that day to quote it. Then time went by, one week, two weeks, after 3 call backs by me, and 5 wks having gone by... I do not think they want the business. The person at the call center, dispatch was nice, and fwd. my request to the owner... good thing it was not an urgent issue in my kitchen...

When I turned on the air conditioner for the first time this year I received an error message on my Nest thermostat. Burkett was listed as a servicer on NestPro and had the best ratings so I made an appointment. Cody and his sidekick arrived and diagnosed the problem quickly. A mouse had entered the outdoors portion of the unit and chewed through a wire (and the dead mouse was in the unit). They made the repair, cleaned up the unit and were done in about 30 minutes. Very professional and efficient. I would highly recommend Burkett and will use them again when needed.

I had Burkett come to my home to troubleshoot and repair my AC unit during Memorial Day weekend. They came highly recommended from several family members. The next day they sent Andy who did an amazing job. He found the issue almost immediately. Had it fixed within 15 . He then spent about 45 minutes inspecting my AC unit and blower system. Through the whole process, he explained the entire system to me. He gave me some things to keep an eye on and future recommendations. The cost for everything was substantially lower than what I've paid in the past from their local competitors.
