Critical: Professionalism
Told us we needed a new furnace and said we couldn't use it or it will blow up. Called another heating service in Hartford, Michigan and they came out and told us we didn't have the right hose.on it. Once they did that the furnace turn on and has been working ever since. I would not recommend them to anyone.

I had an amazing experience with this company. They came prepared and I was presented a quote on the spot, no waiting for days or weeks,no wait on evaluating, no games. Job scheduled within days! WoW! Job completed,they did a fantastic job! I cried,I was emotional,I mattered to someone who could have worked on bigger jobs ,made more money , but decided to help me out anyways. Tim was referred to me by a close friend. During Covid-19, he responded to our urgent request to check on my father's furnace which was cycling irregularly. He was understanding of the need to diagnose and repair the furnace with me on the phone so that he wouldn't expose my father unnecessarily. He offered a fair price on the component and labor, and he was done within the hour. He even closed the garage door and wiped with Lysol to prevent contamination - so thoughtful. I appreciate Tim's understanding during these strange times.

After doing a lot of research getting a lot of quotes for getting my ac and furnace installed We decided to go with hometown. We did research on their products they use day&night which have amazing reviews. Not only did we get a reasonable quote but the job was done and only two days. We did not even have to be home the first day with out any worries, I would completely trust hometown to do any work on our home again great job guys thank you.

I hired Hometown Heating and Cooling to install a furnace, air conditioner, and all the ductwork. I had 4 reputable HVAC Contractors come by and quote the job and Tim Wells (the owner) was by far the most knowledgeable person. He asked all the right questions and took photos, measurements, and notes on my desired outcome. I requested that noise was my priority, then even heating, then price. He returned two options with pros and cons of each one based on my input. None of the other contractors took photos or asked for my desired outcome.

I work at the Berrien County Courthouse in the Family and Probate Division.
