Owner Jack Oliver began his own pool service company in Tallahassee, Fl., after graduating from Florida State University in the early 2000's and with a few years of experience working at a local pool store under his belt. But when it was time to move back to Columbia in 2006 to help care for his sick father, Jack didn't let his business go.
Jack has been in the swimming pool industry for more than 20 years. He can answer simple water chemistry questions or help you build your dream outdoor living area. Jack grew up in Columbia, graduated from Spring Valley High School and attended Florida State University. When he is not spending his downtime at the beach with his wife, Jack enjoys hunting, fishing and training his German Shorthair Pointers.

My hot tub was delivered with the lid lift on backorder in September. I called back a month later and was told it was in and would be delivered the next week. That was 2 weeks ago. So I called to follow up, mainly to make sure they didn't forget, since times are crazy. I was told we were in a pandemic and no service people were available. All I asked for was an update.

Jack olivers pool and spa is a joke. I had them install my inground vinyl pool liner 3 1/2 years ago and I’ve had a problem ever cents. I’ve called them over 15 times in the last three years without any response for someone to come out and take a look at my shoddy installation and bad liner. It got so bad that the discoloring and the fading occurred within six months and they refused to come out. Every time I would call they would say, “our technicians are busy will get out there as quickly as we can”. I spent thousands of dollars with JACK Oliver over the years and they’ve done nothing

The Jack Oliver robot loaner program allowed us to test products before purchasing. I’ve never owned a pool and only know what I’ve researched on the web. We ended up purchasing the 9650 and can honestly say it’s worth the expense. Easy to use and clean plus the pool is spotless. The wife likes it too! They also service my pool. They are a good company with knowledgeable personnel.

Recently I had a major leak in the return line of my pool. Jack Oliver Pools came to my rescue. They were affordable, honest, and professional. They had to remove and replace a concrete section of my pool deck and it looks AMAZING!!! They did a perfect job and I could not be happier. They were very timely and their work was done thoroughly. Their work and knowledge are exceptional. I highly recommend them. They also cleaned up after themselves! Thank you for the amazing repair work!

This has been such a great experience. It is great to see the owner, Jack, come out to your home and go over things with you. The contractors come when they say they are coming and they do great work. They take care of you from the very beginning and continuously check in to make sure your pool is up to par. We are very impressed with this company and the people that represent it! We would absolutely recommend them to anyone!

I spoke to several pool installers in our area before making the decision to use Jack Oliver's. Jack made a great first impression with the onsite visit and their staff in the store were very helpful and their product knowledge is outstanding. After having a bad experience with our home builder it was refreshing to have a contractor come in and make our backyard pool vision become a reality. The communication has been excellent through out the process. They've kept a clean work site. They've always been on time. They represent the gold standard for customer service.
