Finally had time to write a review. This is my first review ever and I feel I need to give back to my Yelp reviewers. I was in a bind when our furnace suddenly broke. I got a referral from my neighbor who used JD heating for the last 15 years. I called and Dave was able get one of his technicians to come out the next day. Matt the technician texted and called prior to the scheduled time to let me know he was coming. It was nice to get a call ahead of time. He came and was able to diagnose the problem quickly. Matt was competent, friendly and professional. He reached out to me a day after the service

Actually, I would give them ZERO stars! I've used them for a number of years, but sadly J.D. passed away this past summer. His son Dave is running the business right into the ground. I had two incidents of carbon monoxide within a week. After the first one I was told that the problem was corrected. One week later - same problem. Of course it was a Sunday, and Dave told me if I wanted someone to come out to my house, it would be at a cost of $400 per hour. I very quickly found someone else. It turned out to be a very serious problem. Good Riddance, J D Heating!

We had 3 other technicians come to our house because our furnace wasn't working- all three received great Yelp reviews, but no one would/could diagnose the problem-- probably because they could make more off of us to convince us we should replace the heating unit rather than fix it. Joe was referred from the previous homeowner and I am forever thankful. Joe came IMMEDIATELY and diagnosed and fixed the issue in a couple of hours for a very fair price. He also walked me through the home (which we had recently moved in) and advised me how to maintain our systems. I highly recommend Joe.

Absolutely zero knowledge and zero follow up service. Their tech, Matt and his helper, Bill installed a brand new 3 ton unit (way too big for our 1700 sq ft home) in early May. By June 8, after calling multiple times to inform them that the unit wasn't working, I finally gave up and called another company. The other company came out, drained 7 pounds of refrigerant out of my system, then determined that a piston hadn't been installed to allow the coolant to cycle properly. This cost me $600 on top of what JD charged to install a BRAND NEW UNIT. We will be taking them to court. If

J-D did some work at my home a few years ago. We have since learned they did not install air conditioning that is adequate for our home. We will most likely need to add to the system to truly cool several rooms. And, when we switched builders, they would not work with the new builders to help them complete the project. Very unprofessional. Buyer beware. They do not have the customer as their primary focus.
