Michael was creative, thorough and attentive throughout the complete design and build process. Michael approaches problem solving with an open mind, and the results are great. For instance, he came up with an innovative and green solution to our residential insulation problem, adapting a strategy that had been used almost exclusively in commercial contexts.

The focus of my practice is contemporary residential design, both new construction and renovations. I offer a broad range of expertise in energy-efficient and sustainable design and construction. Most important, I am committed to working closely with clients throughout the design and construction process to realize their goals with creative, thoughtful, and budget-conscious solutions.
Clients require more space for their growing family and desire a more open, contemporary living area. The addition extends the form of the existing 1920's era cottage but is wrapped in a contemporary skin of metal panel. The rear, south-facing wall, is protected from the harsh summer sun by a lattice of operable louvered panels.
