Your responsiveness to the demands placed on us, often with little lead time, has been extraordinary. And you have always managed to bring to us a beautiful and practical design. The Student Center joins forces with adjacent buildings to shapes outdoor space that is lovely and alive and makes a more subtle but meaningful dialog in the architectural language of our campus buildings.
Taylor & Burns is an architecture studio founded in 1990 by Robert Taylor and Carol Burns, who craft each project with personal care and everyday hands-on leadership of design teams. We incorporated as Taylor MacDougall Burns from 1994 to 2000. In our practice the goal is to design buildings and places that, in their composition, character and detail, embody the mission and values of those groups who commission architecture.
Taylor & Burns periodically seeks new designers to join the studio.
