I originally gave this young man high marks and a very good review. When my air conditioner pooped out after three or four weeks after he was here unclogging my drainage system, I called them again and was told that the warranty was null& void because I had a second opinion come in and he says it's in the contract. He never mentioned anything like that upfront and as we all know, nobody reads those contracts! He was going to charge me all over again so I found somebody else on Thumbtack where Carolina Copper also advertises and that man has the experience and business sense that Carolina

I reached out via Thumbtack app. They responded to my request within minutes and set up an in person appt. within 48 hours. Upon arriving they gave a quick diagnosis of the issue and a bid for repair. The technician offered to perform the work same day and get my A/C back up and running. He left for about an hour to get the needed parts and then quickly fixed the issue when he returned. Quick and easy process and very professional the whole time! Highly recommend. I will be calling them for my future needs.

I’m so happy with the service Joey provided. He got in touch with me immediately to discuss an issue I was having with our AC unit. He arrived with a mask (Covid) and booties (very thoughtful.) Had a heater issue, and I was able to get an appointment with Joey the very next morning. Very professional, quick, and friendly service. The whole operation seems to very well run and efficient. I hope that I don't need my AC or heat to be worked on again any time soon, but if I did, I would definitely give Carolina Copper a call. High recommended!

So taken back with my experience with them.. over priced. Dealt with them in June replaced 2 sets of capacitors costing over 700, only to have my fan go bad in September.. Had another company replace fan at a way cheaper estimate. My fault on this... I forgot the other company name and couldn't find them in email when my heater wouldn't come on. so these guys popped up and ibspoke with them on phone told them once contractor came out I would sign up for agreement service plan once I received estimate. Well for a 30 min job at most to replace fan that disperses carbon monoxide

We called Carolina Copper HVAC when our air conditioner went out. Joey came out to inspect the unit quickly and provided an estimate that was well in-line of competitors. He was friendly and knowledgeable and told us he would be able to complete the work the following Wednesday. He called to let us know he was on his way and arrived on time, completed the work in just a couple hours, didn't make a mess, and stayed to test the unit and ensure it was running properly. Joey the owner not only he is an honest man but truly he is professional,I live in California and had issue with the heating unit in one of my rental in Moorisville I had other company going there to check out the problem and wrongfully they give with the list of stuff to repair,after Joey checking the unit turn that to be very simple repair at fractional cost,I highly recommend his Company for HVAC repair,SAVE your self the headache and the MONEY.

He gave me multiple options with different price points and did an awesome job. Once the installation was complete, he followed up the following days to make sure that everything was working as it should.
I've also used Joey for an emergency call when my AC unit was leaking all into my garage, he came out within a few hours and had everything fixed and back up and running. His prices are awesome also, much better than the big companies.

While attempting to change a Honeywell thermostat to a Nest, and foolishly not turning off the power, I managed to short something out. I had no air with either thermostat. I called Carolina Copper and spoke with Joey, the owner. When I explained what I did, Joey told me because it was the dead of summer, he couldn't bring himself to charge me for a service call as this was only a blown 3 amp fuse.
