Pod Labor Services In Chicago. I was a union mover for 14 years and worked for quite a few moving companies. Very disapponted in the lack of quality services rendered on ( 9/30 21). i ranked as a zero. Totally unrealiable, inexpereniced and lazy of professional agreement of renting a Uhaul with two unprofessional movers. Bed and dressor, three sitting chairs and 17 boxes to moved from the origin to destination took 7.5 hours and paid 975.00 plus dollars. I foolishily honored the cost and paid. DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES! You will be so upset with their unprofessional services. DJM

The crew was very quick and efficient, but both times I used them they were 30 minutes+ late as a result of the owners/managers poor time management. It seems like this is a repeat issue with management, and the owner was not understanding (and was a little rude when I brought it to his attention) so make sure you don’t have any time restraints when working with this company.

Absolutely TERRIBLE !!! Poor business from the top down. So disappointed with the cost, miscommunications from the owner/managers, and the experience level of the movers. The movers scratched my TV and also damaged my couch. When I addressed the issue, the mover replied that the couch was already like that and that it was from a pet but it clearly was because of the two movers poor experience and judgement. Sloppy job all around they did not wrap my couch before taking on/off truck and moving into the home. My items were left disassembled and unorganized. When I contacted the owner and manager

We contacted Bill the owner who was very easy to communicate with. He was very straightforward and honest. They did not have availability early in the day but called him back in the afternoon after our movers cancelled. He graciously checked with his crew to see if they could do a same day move and by a pure miracle they had 2 cancellations earlier that day and accepted the job. The 2 movers we very, very nice and personable. They worked from 6:30 - 2am and towards the end they were exhausted. We were closing on the home the following morning so I couldn't thank them enough for helping us out of

If I could give less than one star I would. Damaged my walls and stairs. Movers would hit something and say oops. They used tape on all my furniture. Damaged so many of our things. They told me nothing about adding drive time cost. (We weren't moving locations. Only to the garage) tried to charge me extra on the way. One of the movers called the owner, put him on speaker and he was yelling and swearing. Completely unprofessional. These people have no business being in any service industry.

Bill's moving service was excellent! Very affordable for an unload job. I had 2 young gentleman assigned for my job. They were very communicative and even came early. They were fast and professional. They were very careful, nothing was damaged and quick!

The worst experience ever!!! Stay away from them!! Don't even try to book them because they will never show up!!
I booked this company and received an email confirmation. The movers never showed up!! Every time I called them they said the movers should arrive soon and they never did!!
I felt so helpless!! Do yourself a favor and don't trust them!! They will definitely not going to deliver!!!

Bailed on us! We waited and waited and the dispatcher kept saying the truck is on its way...
Now instead of moving today, when I booked the slot I'm my building (management buiding down town), I will have to wait until next week in my old place, everything in boxes already!!!
This crew just cost me $1000 in extra rent and fee's to my old building! Gee thanks Bill!

If I could give negative stars, I would. Movers were an hour and a half late, then when they arrived in the neighborhood, called from three different locations, insisting they were behind my building.
Andy, the one in charge, was ABSOLUTELY HAMMERED DRUNK, and Jason, the new guy, couldn't override Andy's decisions--like pack only the boxes I'd moved into the yard onto the truck, not the heavy stuff I'd hired movers to move.
Terrible, terrible, terrible. This is a company that employs unreliable, incompetent people. No need to look on Facebook for the folks who failed out

-Was told the men would come with supplies. The only supplies the men came with were two dollies. Because of this, the move took a lot longer than expected.
-One of the men was texting during the move and would wander off.
-My lamp was broken because it was carried wrong.
-My desk is damaged.
-My brand new walls that just got fresh dry wall and paint are damaged.
-I was told after the job was done that they ONLY take cash (which happened to be at 11:00 at night) and that a credit card or check wouldn't work.

Countless thanks to Bill and his team for their amicable communications and adaptive accommodations throughout my complicated move--truly a stellar job. I understand older reviews may reflect poor experiences in the past, but I urge my fellow consumer to give Bill a call and consider his services. He recently merged with Concierge and has really developed a tight system between sales, administration, and field teams. Everyone was on the same page, and the movers themselves took great care getting many delicate items to two locations on opposite sides of town. A+, highly recommended :)

Bill was nice at first. Movers were late. Movers were unskilled. Movers broke window. Paul said movers would pay for window. Story changed a week later. Bill was not so nice. Paul accused landlord of "touching sofa" during window break. After unpacking, saw lots of scratches and breaks. Still waiting for reimbursement. Looking into legal options.

I am "of the age" where the thought of moving my own stuff elicits a sizable amount

ONLY HIRE BILL'S MOVING SERVICE IF YOU WANT YOUR STUFF RUINED!!!
Almost all my furniture was damaged during my most recent move.
When I told one of the movers I was concerned with the way he was loading boxes he mocked me. Totally unprofessional. also I didn't appreciate when I overheard him talk negatively and making comments about Puerto Rican woman.
These are just some of the ridiculous things. I'm starting to get angry remembering how awful this experience was so I better stop writing.

Back to United Van Lines for us!
The first problem occurred when the gentlemen moving us out were late in arriving--not a big issue, but put us behind for the rest of a stressful day.
All of the movers were pleasant and professional, and every dealing I've had with Tony has been fantastic. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about my dealings with Bill.
A few of our items were damaged in the move when a box of fragile items was placed at the bottom of the stack, despite the prominent "Fragile!" markings. These were not expensive items, mostly a couple of sentimental pieces

I was stuck in a tight situation where only a week before the move my landlord changed the date. I was forced to use movers instead of the tried-and-sometimes-true friends + pizza + a van route I've taken before. You know how it goes: clumsy, slow, and tiring. Getting friends to help you move is like pulling teeth and then being forced to eat glass. This was nothing like that. This was angel food cake and a bubble bath compared to that.
I frantically called movers I saw reviewed well on yelp (thanks, community!). Little did I know May 1 was supposedly

I was originally really grateful to Bill's Moving. My scheduled mover stood me up and I needed someone as soon as possible. Bill was great on the phone - promised a crew of three by the afternoon and a 16' truck. I was a little worried about the truck - other movers had said they couldn't help me because I would have too much stuff, and I told Bill that - but Bill said it would be okay.
