We will always use the greenest protective materials to secure your stuff for transport: recycled foam, peanut shells, heavy-duty rubber bands. We only use new trucks. They're cleaner, safer for your goods, and are in compliance with even the strictest environmental regulations. Our trucks use DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) and SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) to reduce NOx (Nitrogen oxides) emissions and reduce our environmental imprint.

I am a bit in shock - Katz Moving decided they would cancel on me - the day of the move 2 hours and 30 minutes after they were supposed to start, despite a signed contract and 25% deposit, with this message from Dominic Kostic: "We were supposed to go with a 3 man crew and add one more mover in NY since you have 4 flights of stairs but one mover quit this morning at 6am due to an emergency that was supposed to come in CT." Just completed our 3rd move with Katz (two within NYC, and the most recent from NYC to Maplewood, NJ). The fact that I'm a repeat customer says it all -- Katz has always been professional, transparent, fast, and efficient in a category that is generally not these things.
Katz has always made the terrible process of moving better for us, even when something does go wrong -- in our most recent move, the movers were very delayed in getting started, but Bjorn (head of operations) made it right by giving us a discount right away, and showing up on site to get things started himself. The team at Katz Moving was fantastic. They packed up our 3 bedroom condo in NJ (we literally didn’t have to life a finger) and moved us out of state.
They were there on time, finished early and then actually beat us to our final destination. The move in was flawless and fast.
Our foreman, Jermaine was super professional, easy to communicate with and even gave me his personal cell phone so we could coordinate during the long out of state drive.

I had a really good experience with Katz for my move. I got a few quotes from different companies and Katz was the best I had gotten so that's why I ended up choosing them. My actual move was well organized. Everyone wore a mask the entire time and very polite.
I hadn't realized that my previous movers had actually stripped all of the screws on my bed which made it very difficult to take apart. But the movers took their time and kept me updated. Eventually it was worked out, I was very happy with their extra attention to that. Everything else went just as you would expect with a move

Highly recommend Katz Moving, the team were very professional and went above and beyond moving my furniture into my apartment. The guys had a tough job and worked hard walking up four floors and I really appreciate the great work they did taking extra care while moving fragile objects. Thank you! The worst moving experience I have ever had. I've moved many times and am not particularly picky about these type of things, but my gosh, any other option is better than Katz. I'm not joking, a rando off of Craigslist would probably be a more pleasant experience. Below are the bullet points of my awful experience, and you will never get a response from Katz (Dominic, Bjorn and Jermaine) if you have any follow up items like building damages, lost items or broken items.

We move around a lot and these past six years I used Katz's for literally four moves (including packing), used their storage service twice, and most recently entrusted them to prepare our contents and ship them internationally. I was never disappointed and can only say good things about their service, from A-Z. Fam i gotta tell you this company stressed me tf out. I can't even begin. Missing items. The crew was a mixed back of conscientious and non-compliant workers. The sum total? An incomplete job. I had to go back the next day with a small trailer to get the rest of the stuff the workers refused to move because they "timed out". I mean...

I scheduled a move with Katz Moving in NYC recently, and I have nothing but great things to say about these guys. They showed up right on time and handled everything quickly and efficiently while treating all of our items very carefully. Another great move with Katz Moving! This time they moved furniture from NJ to Massachusetts, and they did it in one day. From Dominic ( dispatcher), to the crew Nelson ( foreman) , Arameh, & Rayvon, they were professional, responsive, respectful, and very quick. They did an incredible job, and I will only be using Katz Moving for all my future moves! They have very fair estimates and keep to it. Unfortunately, I had to move again. But lucky for me, I decided to use movers from Katz again. I am so grateful and fortunate that I had great movers every time I moved with this company (this is the THIRD time).
I would especially like to recognize Francisco and Jordan for all their hard work. They were amazing and so professional from beginning to end. Horrible, unprofessional moving service. We contracted for a full service move including packing and unpacking. The movers came with insufficient supplies, and didn't use Katz' crates or any of the environmentally friendly products advertised on the website. They ran out of packing supplies mid-packing and instead of procuring more, picked up thin advertisement papers off the side of the street and packed fragile items in single sheets or just threw them into overstuffed boxes. This was our second time using Katz and everything was great except for one MAJOR issue. Based on the amount of inventory we had, Katz told us that this would be a four man job. On the day of, they sent over only two men (with one additional person more than half way into the move). Among other issues (detailed below), this resulted in the move being completed 3 hours behind schedule at 9pm and we were not able to sleep in our new place as everything was still boxed up.

Katz Moving helped me with a small move today. The two men I worked with were incredibly nice and good communicators. The foreman, Matthew, was sure to check in with me at all stages of the move. Cap tip for expertly dealing with some construction outside my building as well. I was charged exactly what I was quoted. No hidden fees. I will certainly use this company again for an in-town move. Nothing takes the stress of a move away like hiring movers, ESPECIALLY in Manhattan. 100% worth the price tag. Will refer friends as well. Thanks Katz!

This company is the worst! Shameful. I don't post reviews so that tells you how bad my experience was.
Story below:
I moved over the weekend which was a nightmare from day one. I had a full pack service on Friday into a move on Saturday.
I had a full townhouse with 3 floors needless to say it was a big job that required 2 trucks. I spent in total $6000. I had to get this move done As quickly and efficiently as possible.
What was promised:
I was told that on day one (Friday) there would be a crew of about 8 guys to pack us up, and the trucks loaded.
Reality:
3 guys show up packed one floor
