AVOID this mover, they'll NEVER show up. No apologies, no compensation, no credibility and doesn't care about their customers AT ALL.
These movers deserve 0 stars. We booked with them a MONTH ahead. On the day of the move, they were supposed to show up at 12pm but when we called they said they'll be late but should arrive before 3. At 2 we got another call saying the truck got into an accident and couldn't come till 5 or 6 pm. We were upset but decided to wait again. And then no one showed up at 6, and we called they said they'll come at 8. At that point it's too late in the day and our building

Had 3 movers come to assist my 2 bedroom apartment move. Most of my furniture pieces are glass so they spent majority of their time wrapping things. Although there was three movers only one person was wrapping things up and the other 2 were milking the clock; one of the employees was talking outside on his phone for over 30 min. I saw him while I was moving my more important pieces- good to know you can work harder than whatever kid they randomly send to you. Traumatic experience. THEY CANCELLED ON ME LAST MINUTE WITHOUT NOTICE. Movers never showed up on day of my move, and when I called the office, they said they decided to cancel my move -- without notifying me -- even though they'd confirmed it two days before. They offered to reschedule me for 3 DAYS LATER, which was useless because my lease would have already been up. They offered no alternative solution. My brother booked them 2 weeks in advance of his moving date, paid a deposit, and got confirmation with a 3 hour time-frame. On the day he was supposed to move they couldn't give him an exact time and finally late in the day told him that dispatch didn't have him on his list and he'll need to reschedule! He ended up having to pay $1k more to another company for "emergency booking" extremely unprofessional and very rude customer service!

I used them twice - twice smooth like butter. They get there like they say they would - I think the truck they provided was bigger than I anticipated. Everything is wrapped nicely and stacked well. No cracks, no chips nothing. Everything was placed into the new area within for good reach and easy adjustment. They were fast too - no "slothing". The price quoted is exactly what they say. When we were finishing up, one of them broom and cleaned the truck. Aside from a major hose down - they make sure there were no hardware accidentally left behind.

OK movers, team Max did a decent job, but I knocked off 1 star due to the lead mover, complain we had more stuff than estimated - I thought that was a snarky comment since we were paying by the hour for the move.
Secondly, he haggled for more tip. I specifically asked the sales team what the recommendation was, and gave a tip that was right in the middle. However he did mention that 20% tip was required. I obliged.
Will not use them again.

Fantastic movers. On time, fast, and so nice. They wrapped everything, were extra careful and even took the time to make sure my furniture was where I want it. I had two of the nicest movers ever. I'm a native New Yorker and can tell you was the best moving experience of my 17 moves. Great prices. I tipped because the guys rocked it. Again, great experience.

This was our first move in New York City. You can read horror stories about every moving company in the city. This experience however was great in every way!
The movers arrived in time and were extremely fast. They disassembled our bed and sofa and reassembled it again in the new apartment. As almost all moving companies this company has a minimum of 3 hours charge. Even though the move took slightly longer, they only charged us 3 hours!
We got quotes from 5 different companies and the final price we had to pay for twin brothers movers was 200 dollars below the second cheapest quote we got!

Incredible service! I've heard horror stories of hiring moving companies but after doing research online and reading reviews on Yelp, I felt comfortable with Twin Brothers. I requested a quote 4 days before my preferred move date via Yelp and they immediately responded within 10 minutes and were able to accommodate. First off, I shopped around moving companies from Yelp. Twin brothers offered the most competitive pricing, by far. They also don't charge for providing wardrobe boxes and COIs.
My movers were Freddie and another gentleman. They were quick, moved fast and didn't waste ANY time. We drove from our apartment to a house 25 mins away. I expected them to take some "extra" time to get to the house, and I was 100% wrong. We moved from a 1 bedroom to a house all less than 4.5 hours, that's including them helping build our bed and travel between location

Moving is honestly one of the reasons why I delayed finding a new place for soo long.
I contacted twin brothers for a quote and info and they were SUPER helpful and nice. Also affordable.
Instead of me renting a uhual, I decided to with Twin brothers and am so grateful for their help.
I had to move my bed frame, mattress, a couple ikea drawers, and my desk table.
They helped pack everything to the truck and unload all my items carefully.
Everything happened at a reasonable time frame and they helped unpack all my items as well!

Amazing service!! I used their services this weekend, and was extremely pleased by how professional they were! I set an appointment for 1pm, and they arrived right on time! I explained that the furnitures that I needed to move were fragile. They took the time to make sure everything was perfect! Everything was wrapped, tapped, and handled with care! They were patient with me, they didn't rush, or throw my furniture in the truck, or down the stairs.
I didn't have to worry about glass cracking, chipped paint, wood, scuffs, or scratches! I definitely recommend their services!!

I found Twin Brothers Movers through Yelp. It was my first time moving out so I was incredibly stressed. But after reading all the great reviews people left I decided to try it out. The whole process ran smoothly. I gave them a call and got a quote (there are no gimmicks here) and I think the price for the quote was more than reasonable.
Then on the day of the team arrived on time and helped me move everything out of my apartment. I was worried at first because I have chinas and glass products...but the team knows exactly how to take care of things and have special wooden crates for them.

I hired Twin Brothers to move a 1 bedroom apartment in Queens to a 2 bedroom apartment in Yonkers, using 3 movers. I can't begin to express how happy I am that I did! They made my move completely stress free.
Frank and his team were timely, courteous, and professional. They assisted me with the whirlwind of last minute packing I had to do, and handled my belongings with care. When we reached the new apartment they were very accommodating and were able to also place some of my things in my on-site storage.

They arrived 50 minutes after the start of the arrival window, which is not bad.They charged us $155/hour to move a studio apartment's worth of furniture between two elevator buildings, minimum three hours. They took just about three hours. Two of my items were slightly damaged through the move - my couch cushion was not wrapped with cling film, and collected a bunch of dust and got a smear of spackling from the renovating
