When we decided to upgrade our kitchen and bath in our high rise penthouse, we wanted to get the job done with the least effort on our part and include a designer, not just a contractor. We also have physical needs for the design, including a walk in shower, which is not an easy requirement in a high rise. We got all that and more.
We spent many hours with our designer to pick the layout and materials. We could not have done it on our own. Next Stage provided plans and 3d images for our review, then the project manager got involved with getting contractors lined up and a schedule made. They stuck

I have been pleased to work with Next Stage three times (on two different houses). There have been folks with them the whole time, and new folks - all have been a great combination of fun and professional. My wife and I wanted a new refreshed look to the front our house. I checked the Diamond Certified list of contractors and found Case. With a little more investigating we chose Case for the design and remodel. Case showed us optional designs and we chose one. We were offered many choices of materials which were decided upon with the help of the Case designer. Work started each day with the project manager on site and all the workers were so friendly and professional at everything. Each day was completed with a complete clean-up of the area. Case Design/Remodeling did a fantastic job with the two remodeling projects we had done over the past two years. I would refer to the folks that do the remodeling work for them as artisans, as that is the level of their work and professionalism. The work was always on-going from start to finish. We never had to wonder about the work schedule, as they gave us a day to day calendar of work events. They never skipped a beat, unlike other companies that all of a sudden don't show up to do their work.

This is a long overdue review, finally writing because I had Case do a second project. The first was converting two bedrooms into a master bedroom and a half bath. That extensive project was done well, managed the things we discovered in the old walls, and made right some minor missteps. I had explained how important redoing the backyard was, and while they don't do that work they did go out and find an excellent partner and worked very closely to ensure the schedules worked out.

Good handyman services, but I wouldn't use them again for remodeling.
I have an older home in San Jose's Rose Garden area, and with all old homes, things from time to time need repair. I have used Case as a handyman for years and the results have generally been quite good.
But a few years back I used them for an interior bathroom remodel. The bathroom looked good when it was done, but a few years later when I did a kitchen remodel with a different contractor, they had to do some work on the adjoining bathroom to accommodate new plumbing and electrical for the kitchen. Ok, I will update this review as we go but honestly, I'm already pleased with my service.
For the past month I have called various contractors trying to get a bid on some work I need done in my two bathrooms. I have left messages all over the greater San Jose area and NO ONE CALLS BACK.
Today, I called CASE around noon - I knew I'd be leaving a message because one, it was lunch and two, no contractors ever answer their phones. Lol.
WITHIN AN HOUR CASE CALLED ME BACK TO SCHEDULE A CONSULT! OMG! I FINALLY got a contractor to call me back! I'm elated. Seriously. Jill was awesome

These guys are great. After my initial visit with Jeff (project manager & estimator) at a rental property two weeks ago, I've already hired and worked with Tim (professional electrician and jack of all trades) for two projects - one at my rental and the other at my new custom construction home.
They get five stars because they are upfront on what they can do well and where I would be best going direct with another company, can handle the majority of the various projects I've sent their way, are pleasant and professional to deal with (both Jeff and Tim have great personalities),

We have been very pleased with our first experience with this company. We had several bids placed on replacing a kitchen door and ultimately selected CASE. The initial visit for a quote (Jeff) was very detailed and efficient and didnt push for more than needed. Jeff also was willing to answer additional questions not related to the job considered. This company runs a well-known "bite more than you can chew" process.
Here's what it means: wait for months to get a really crappy and hasty job "done" and wait more weeks or months if bad quality is not what you're looking for and you want any of the created problems fixed (if you're lucky enough and anything will be fixed, ever).

We had a number of small handyman projects for the home repair specialist to complete, from repairing a mail slot, to installing cabinet pulls in the kitchen, to some electrical work. The estimator that came to assess the scope of work was very thorough and gave us an estimate that was accurate. Both he and the handyman were on time, and here when they said they'd be here! That hasn't happened in the past, with other contracting companies we've hired. As a lath and plaster subcontractor, we have been working with CASE a little over 5 years now. I couldn't ask for a better Contractor. The entire staff at CASE is professional, intelligent, and very efficient! They have an amazing team! I'm blessed to say that they give us an abundance of opportunities to work with them. We hired Case for a complete kitchen remodel a year ago. They were spectacular in every aspect.
We discovered they also have a handyman division. Had them out today for minor household repairs. Once again, they did not disappoint.

I had some repairs to exterior wood trim and adding wood to finish a door and few windows. I was so impressed with Jill in the office and Tim who came out to do the work. They made the process easy, stress free and worked around my hectic schedule. I would go back for any additional work I need. The price was also reasonable for the work.

I originally scheduled Case to install 4 sink faucets, and when I called to make the appointment, the only opening they said they had was in 2 weeks. They quoted me $90/per hour for the job. I had heard good things about them so I decided to schedule. 2 weeks later the handyman shows up, and after installing the first faucet, he runs into some issues with the 2nd faucet and starts to complain that that the middle hole is too small and he would need to ground it down so the faucet could fit. It took him over 3 hours to ground the hole and install the faucet. When I asked him if he would be installing

We had an idea, a vision of what we wanted our kitchen to be, and she took that and improved it, while still staying true to the vision. We used Case Remodeling earlier this year to repair a wall on our balcony which had water damage. Sorry to say, we would not use this company again.
They either low balled the original bid or were completely off on their estimate. The project took a lot longer than they had bid and the costs went up, and we ended up doing some of the work ourselves just to finish the job because they kept not finishing the job when they said it would be finished. We primed the siding and finished the exterior painting. They did try to work with us since we were not a satisifed customer, but from the aggravation
