I was told a given price for the vehicle, I was approved for a given deal, all seemed good until I got to the dealership and was shown some paperwork that included some $700 useless Elo GPS mobile app that was added to my sales contract which I NEVER okay'd nor approved prior to the documents that were sent to me Fed Ex for signing so obviously I only inquired about it the day I picked up the car, only to be told that was not to be removed. Left a message three days in a row, no call back. Ended up finally getting a hold of Edgar and asked for a different service provider. Made an appointment and dropped my truck off. Got transferred back to my old advisor that was non-responsive. Got the estimate for work and it is severely trumped up on labor charges. 3 hours to change a battery. Give me a break. It took me (not a mechanic) 24 minutes and that included finding my tools. At my last service two weeks ago, (which was also a computer/electrical problem) I was quoted almost $900 for the repair but it was covered by my extended warranty

So. I took my truck to get serviced a few months ago. Part of the service was supposed to include my overhead sunglasses holder being fixed. I couldn't happen due to a part not being in. They assured me I would get a call once it was in. Never got the call.
Finally decide to get my service done there yesterday since, after I asked, the part was in. Drove down all the way from Orange County, again, and was told the service would be done in 3 hours. The rep knew I drove on out an hour and a half to get there

I am coming back to edit an initial review of 1 star. They ended up working out the same deal but without running a hard inquiry on my credit which was the original discrepancy. They treated me well and compromised with my scruples. I had a great experience here. I didn't purchase my vehicle here but I came in a few times for service. I was extremely impressed - better service than I have received at Land Rover, Audi, Porsche, and Mercedes.
I was assigned one person the first time I went. He was the only person I talked to every visit. They pay for a riseshare to and from their location if you are getting service. They even replaced a low key fob battery. I didn't even mention it - Brandon just said he saw the warning and went ahead and replaced it with no charge. It's a great service center.

Dropped my vehicle off on 11/1/2021 due to a check engine light and the Service Advisor was nice but here it is 11/9/2021 and not a single update. I was told on the 11/4/2021 "they are looking at it right now, soon as I have results I will let you know" and that was the last conversation 5 days ago. No reply back what was found or even hey sorry for the delay we are backed up no nothing. Only reason I brought it here was because my grandfather worked here for almost 20 or so years and retired but I guess times have changed...

The dealership gave us paperwork for a car with the wrong VIN, and it is now almost a year later, and the problem is still not fixed. After we made many trips to the dealership, they tried to solve the problem but only succeeded in "deleting" the car. The DMV now has no record of it. So now, after many trips to the DMV, since the dealership couldn't help us, the DMV has tracked down the car with the right VIN, and we will hopefully finally be able to get license plates and registration soon. The title continues to be an issue. (We paid cash for the car, never got the title.)

We had an appointment scheduled on 9/3 at 9am for a diagnostic on our Cadillac Escalade. It is currently 9/7 and I still have not received a phone call and we have called and messaged over 5 times oh and we stopped by. At this point all I want is my car back. I have never in my life been treated so very poorly by a company.

What a great experience buying a vehicle. Santiago was super pleasant through the entire experience and extremely informative. I've spent hours at dealerships before and that wasn't the case here. From start to finish everyone and everything was very efficient! I wold most definitely buy a vehicle here again!

Out of all the dealership I went to , this is probably the worst one. Sales person told me he had the truck in stock , he pulled up the truck and I was ready to buy it. But inside I was told that it was sold and that the truck he pulled up was a different one. Horrible experience. He should have done his homework before telling me to head out there. I'm telling all my friends not to shop there.

To travel over a hundred miles on 2 separate occasions; finally go back with a valid credit union issued check and be turned away from purchasing a vehicle. To have an arrogant sales manager laugh in our face is very unprofessional and unacceptable. To put it into context, I had spoken with this same Sales Manager (Ivan Martinez) via a phone call the day before (4/30) and he was rude and arrogant then. The worst dealer in town. Buyer BEWARE!!!
I purchased a 2017 Chevy bolt used with 30,000 miles on it. Two months later had a recall that the battery could explode and took it in and they changed the battery power/computer to remove about 30% of my charging capacity. All electric vehicles are sold the price depending upon how many miles per charge you get. By removing 30% of my battery they removed about $6000 of the worth of the car and refuse to do anything to help me get into a new car replace the car. THIS MY FIRST AMERICAN MADE CAR AND MY LAST! One of the sales associates called me on the phone

Hand sanitizer? Yes we have two machines in the lobby but they were both empty. Touch luck!
And the final straw.. brb I'm gonna gas up your car.

Let me just start by saying that I went to Courtesy Chevrolet (Mission Valley) two weeks ago to purchase my leased car, and I was met with so much disrespect and felt pressured into decisions I didn't want to make with little to no transparency. After 4 stressful and wasted hours, I walked out.
I called Mission Bay Chevrolet today, and told Monica of my experience and she was SO accommodating, and set up a meeting and actually listened to me. She was very transparent with payments/fees/purchasing process and I didn't feel pressured

Michael Kennedy is excellent in service, however Braddon is terrible, so rude, he also doesn't seem to work well with women. Asked him to call my wife as I was busy in and out, I think he doesn't get along with women. He called me twice last week on my phone, I had to keep telling him that I was busy and to call my wife. He wanted to upgrade our service, do more than we wanted, I get it, but I don't trust him. Then when the car was ready at noon on Friday, texted me, again, he didn't call my wife. The manager of the service department saw my review and reached out to me. He refunded the cost of the labor for the filter installation, so I only had to pay the cost of the part.
Since then, I have had a couple of reasons to work with my normal service rep. there on warrantied problems with the car, and he has been easy and straightforward to deal with, as he was before.
I really appreciated the follow-up from them regarding my complaint because it shows that Mission Bay Chevrolet takes customer satisfaction seriously. My car is currently a lease, but I may be buying the lease out when it&apos

Called in to see if they would match or beat another deals car price during the car shopping process. Talked to Steve their internet sales manager. Went from really nice to extremely rude once he realized he couldn't match another dealers cash price. Told me literally "meh" multiple times in a rude manner, and that he didn't want my business. I have never had a salesman be so condescending to me on the phone before. Even if you can sell a car with quite ease to someone else, you should never talk down to someone that is asking politely if you can earn their business. Ended up

We came in with an 'appointment' with Adrian, which was confirmed the morning of. When we walked in the dealership, it took nearly 10 minutes to be greeted. Then we were advised Adrian was not at the dealership and 'only a new guy' was available. We let him show us around, but this was not worth the time.
Thankfully we had an amazing experience at Kearny Mesa Chevrolet and love our new Silverado!
