TMM, located in Jacksonville, Florida, was founded in 2003 to enable Department of Defense qualified transportation service providers to better serve the military marketplace. TMM is a non-asset based logistics company. The business maintains a network of affiliated trusted transportation companies to service contracted shipments.

The success of the business relies on high-quality customer service and efficient move operations ensuring continued growth. The company currently employs over 200 people led by a highly skilled and experienced management team. Currently TMM coordinates more DoD moves than any other single entity. Our move coordinator was great. She called a few times to check on the crew during pack out. We were supposed to have a 3rd party scheduled to come out and pack up our glass table, they were not scheduled, but she worked it out for us. She offered our services whenever they were needed. We have moved 3-4 times and have never had a rep do this for us, she was great!

DPS - Defense Personal Property System is a one stop shop where the DOD customer, the PPSOs and TSP will have access to one system where they can interact and manage shipments. Empty, defrost, and thoroughly wash the inside of your refrigerator and/or freezer to keep mildew at a minimum during transit and storage, these appliances need at least two days to dry out.

Current update:Still not complete.I am still waiting on the delivery of my safe(it is supposed to come shortly). Like most HHGs some things turn up broken. That was still the case. That being said, TMM reimbursed and settled as claimed for everything thus far. Jason has been great to work with. So long as the safe shows up in good condition, or is replaced if damaged, I will update again.
Everybody has heard the horror stories about doing an HHG. Let me tell you, this place lives up to that hype. The moving company that showed up to pack my stuff was simply in a rush trying to get it done as fast

Awful company. The horror stories are true and the customer service is trash. Not only were almost half of my kitchen items, suspiciously high ticket items such as my crockpot and popcorn maker and god knows what else, missing but they also arrived way later than they were supposed to. Luckily I’ve always taken my expensive or memorabilia items with me during PCS moves so I didn’t have to worry about them. The agent I had also responded slowly with almost no good news or information.
When I reported some boxes missing their search turned up negative. How are these boxes just going “missing”

I've had some bad moving experiences but this company by far makes it this move the most inconvenient. They continually lack any information on where my HHG are. Communication is at the bottom of their priority list as we've had to call them on numerous "delivery dates" only to find out it wasn't being delivered. The customer service is extremely poor, and don't try calling as soon as they open at 8 am, they don't answer and it ends the call after 15 minutes. This has been a miserable experience. I once made contact with a driver and scheduled my delivery date, only for him to drop of the face

Worst experience! We recently pcsed and this is the company that moved our household goods. Unfortunately we had to file a claim because our washing machine was damaged during move. I sent pictures and told them what the damage was my adjuster denied the claim and said that because it is a electrical device there is no evidence showing it was damaged because of move. We only had this washer for less than 5 years and it worked perfectly fine before this move. I'd advise never to use this company. Even with insurance now I have to come out of pocket for their negligence.

I really wish I could give negative stars to this place. Please use this company if you wish to waste all of your time and energy, and do all of the work yourself. They constantly lie to you, don’t answer your calls, let things fall through the cracks, and have the worst customer service. I had to check on my belongings pickup, find the driver myself and coordinate it on my own, as they kept saying they spoke with my driver when they never did. They “confirmed” false information frequently, and only changed their tune when I called them out on it after verifying myself. From start to finish

I have been in the military for 20 years with multiple moves around the world and I have never had a more painful claims process for damaged items.
This company receives thousands of dollars to move military members and then nickel and dimes the service member to save a buck. They make up rules that conflict with DoD guidance to deny claims and then push the member to refer the matter to the Military Claims Office. Probably because they are then allowed to offer depreciated value.
For instance two claims were denied because pictures were not uploaded. However pictures were uploaded even though

Moved from Florida to Washington state recently and I am definitely NOT HAPPY after receiving my HHG!
With this being our first major move, I made sure to pack and label everything with the hardware included…TMM movers decided “for liability reasons” to unpack everything and then proceed to repack it in their boxes.
Upon receiving my HHG, I noticed hardware is missing on 3 shelving units and my 65” television is broken!
This is exactly what I was trying to avoid when I packed my own belongings!!
Now me & my husband feel like we’re getting the run around because the site we were told

For anyone who has the unfortunate luck to have their move handled by TMM Total military Management please prepare yourself for the worst customer service and limited reimbursement. If possible I would strongly advise switching to another company to manage your move. No eta was given after my shipment was late then 23 days later my shipment arrive and the company basically said
“our bad”. They clearly do not care about military members

The claims process they utilize for military moves is ridiculous. Upon arriving at my new house and unpacking my expensive TV had a broken screen. I notified them that I had talked to the packers about improperly packing said tv and there was no apology. I claimed what I believed the tv to be worth and they countered the claim at a sale price on an unavailable tv with less features then the one broken. I submitted a counter for actual price of the tv and again they sent me another counter of the same price for a slightly better tv that again was on sale. Apparently they believe sale prices remain

I had the pleasure of using the moving services of TMM for a recent move from New York to Texas. The team arrived exactly on time to pack up my household goods, which they did with a huge amount of respect and care. They were friendly, expedient, and got my household items packed quickly. When they came back the following day to pack the items into the truck, I knew my stuff would be safe and secure thanks to their care with my items and their attention to detail with my packing list.
