Worse move experience ever! Do NOT hire! Arrived four hours late - third job of the day - didn't start until after 7:30 pm and had only one hand cart. Wouldn't wear masks. Damaged $1000 plus of furniture. Job not completed until after 3:00 am because the two movers were exhausted and had to take multiple breaks which i was charged for! Pete has not responded to my emails or calls. AVOID!!!

Read a lot of reviews and spoke to many before we hired a local moving company in Tampa for a small move from Lutz to West Shore area. Everyone of them had both good and bad reviews. We did finally choose Pete's Ultimate Movers and had an awesome experience for something that can be pretty stressful. They were responsive, decent pricing with no hidden fees or other costs ( they were not the cheapest but reasonable), time started when they arrived at our home to the time they left our home (no bogus travel time to pay for), and they were right on time. Zero stars. The worst customer service. My name is Vincent Troise. I received a call from this company after inquiring online about a quick, one item move. I spoke with Ellein Santos and informed her of the pickup and drop-off zip codes so they were aware of the distance and was provided with an quote/offer that I accepted (and signed). Once I began to make accommodations for move day, I was called back and told they could no longer do the move despite the fact that I had accepted their offer and signed to confirm. I moved July 4th was quoted for three hours at about $365. Then the movers took their time speaking another language with each other and costed me $650, almost double for a two bedroom home with very little furniture. Plus one of my TV is missing a cable and one of the DVD I found broken because it fell. Do not hire them.

Pete's Ultimate movers moved my husband and I into our new house and they did an excellent job (it's the second time we've used them). I scheduled the move with Pete a of couple weeks before and he was very friendly and gave me all of the info on pricing. I needed a mover at the last minute because the one I booked would not respond to me. I contacted Pete's and the called me back and gave me a quote within the hour. Day of the move the movers were o n time and started packing me while I was doing the paperwork with the other mover. I will say make sure you are packed because they move very quickly. When we got to the storage unit I was freaking because I thought everything wouldn't fit, they made it fit with room to spare. Excellent work very professional and I will use again.

This is the worst possible customer experience I have ever has. The movers showed up in the last 5 minutes before they would be considered late. When I was given an estimate I was quoted that my furniture would only take an hour to move because I was moving less than 3 miles away and I only had 5 pieces of furniture that needed to be moved. I had already dismantled the furniture the bed was taken apart and the mirror was off the dresser already. It took the movers almost an hour just to get the furniture loaded in the truck. They are very careless and if they damage your stuff- which they most likely WILL- you will NEVER be able to get in touch with anyone again after they leave to resolve the issue! Let's face it...no one likes to move!!! However, Pete and Remario made it a breeze. When tasked with an extremely heavy, electronic couch and four flights of stairs (thankfully they went down and not up) they did it without complain and pure team work. With the couch being leather, they took extreme care and caution with it. They were extremely thorough, professional, and very polite! I would definitely use them again.

Harassment! I contacted them for a quote months ago and now they won't stop calling me. I've answered the phone and asked them to stop. I've blocked the number, they just keep calling. Three voicemails in one day? Why would you keep calling after this long?
Not only should you avoid doing businesses with them but you shouldn't even bother contacting them because they will not stop contacting you. There's a reason why people are hesitant to give out their phone numbers. It's companies like this!

Although we did not hire this moving company for our move, we thought we'd share this tidbit about the business that should give some insight into their business practices. First, they outsource some of their sales operations. The people on the phones have little to no connection with what is actually happening here in Tampa. We originally scheduled our moving needs with We Do Moves, but after receiving multiple excuses on why there were unable to do the move, we called Pete's Ultimate Movers. You LIAR'S cheated me out of money. First you give me an estimate over the phone, but when you move me you come up with a HIGHER amount and say that I didn't tell you that I was moving to the second floor. WHY would I not tell you when I knew that you would find out when you moved me? So, my almost $300 move turned into almost $800. So take me off of any list you have in your office.
