This company goes by several different names, one is Best American Movers. That is something that they are not. They give you one price when you call for a quote and then start up charging when they come to your home stating that the amount of storage is more then quoted, packing is not right etc. When we finally got our stuff, some of my expensive electronics were missing (not sure if they were stolen or delivered to someone else) and I got a couple of items that didn't belong to me. They didn't seem to care. I highly discourage anyone from hiring them. I wish I had done better

They go with name best American movers. They have sales person Chris, customer rep Lisa and another very rude lady Pauline. They picked my items from California on Nov 12. It is supposed to be delivered on 1 st week of December. I called them 100 times or more. The response I got is my items are still there in California and not boarded on truck to move to Texas. Pauline has never spoken after talking once last week and stopped reposing to text messages . Customer Rep has no idea on what is going in office, Every she says sorry and no updates yet from California. Chris is a big lier and the says

I had 2 moves, one from my apartment in Boca Raton to their storage in Hollywood, Florida and the other to Los Angeles California. The first move went well.
The second move was awful as their dispatcher, Pauline, never was honest with me as to the estimated time of delivery so we had to go to Los Angeles and rent a hotel until the mover got there. We paid over $2500 in fees for housing which was totally unnecessary if she had given us a window. Keep

Through my entire transaction and experience there was lack of ownership from pauline and bob. They were both disrespectful and extremely condescending. The communication is great UNTIL you book them, after that it was non existent unless I called from blocked phone numbers. I expected there to be hiccups along the way, but nothing like this. I would wish this kind of experience on my worst enemy. This company is the most unprofessional and ill-equipped LLC I have ever dealt with. The cost of my move more than doubled from what I was quoted and promised, keep in mind that I moved from a TOWNHOUSE

This is the worst moving company we ever had, I worked for RH and they are doing our personal moving right now. I am evaluating their job to see if I can have their company in our relocation bids but no way.
They show up with 2 small rented trucks
The movers very rude
They broke a box of wine bc they just threw your stuff they don't care
It is hard to communicate
They show up at 4Pm and stay until almost 11 which you never do that.
Now they are holding our stuff bc there is no big truck to drive. This is the worst moving company, no logistics, no customer service nothing, now let&apos

I recently used Best Movers for a local piano move. I've used another mover in the past but this move needed to be done by professional movers. This piano was an heirloom in my family and was fragile. The movers that came we're not only professional but very prepared to move this piano from a 2nd floor to another 2nd floor. My piano was turned into me just as I have given it to them. Thanks for the awesome service!

UPDATE: We were contacted once re: this review, and their message contained accusations not a desire to help. We continue to find broken things months later--using this company is just the gift that keeps on giving. And we intentionally wrote this review under a pseudonym, because we don't trust these people.

I think my favorite damage we've discovered so far is the giant "X" in permanent marker that they WROTE DIRECTLY ON A PIECE OF FURNITURE. Are you kidding me? We paid to have it moved, and now it, like so many other things, is just trash.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

I have moved several time and this was probably one of the worst moving experience. Do not be fooled by their high ratings and cheap cost as their service seems to have declined and you will be hit will also sorts of adders during the time of your move. There are four reasons why I have given them such a low rating:

1. Cost of the move: The sales agent quoted me a really good price and they had really great reviews. Therefore, I decided to go with these guys. Little did I know that I would be charged extra during the time of the move. Make sure you clarify costs related to following:
- Packaging

AWFUL. After putting on a good front at the beginning to get the job, everything that could go wrong did and they did not do anything to right it. My delivery was delayed on a daily basis for 10 DAYS. I only had a week to move before my new job. Each day they would not reach out to me and after multiple attempts to reach them would literally lie about where it was. Turns out it hadn't left their warehouse for a week though I was told it was on the truck. On arrival I had multiple pieces of furniture broken, other pieces missing, other pieces wet and dirty. I put my information to get a quote on a move. The associate called back the next morning, and quoted me an astronomical amount without even hearing the specifications that I was inquiring about. The customer service associate sounded like he was in a rush to Get me off the phone so he just spewed out a random, obscenely large number and told me to call him back at a later time. I left the converstaiin feeling as though I was an inconvenience. This isn't how customer service representatives should treat a potential client no matter when they decide to move. Needless to say I WILL NOT be utilizing

These guys did a fantastic job! On time, professional, and efficient. Would definitely use them again. Amount was exactly as quoted, they also had blankets, wrap, and tape available to help protect any fragile items that weren't already wrapped.

Unfortunately, I wanted to use this company and in trying to finalize the contract with two other highly competitive bids I wrote - "Ok thanks. We have to be closer to 3k. So if I sell anything tonight, I'll let you know- if I haven't committed to the Thursday date by then. My friend reviewed them!! Lol and talked to her and you are 300 higher than my next mover: the Monday guy so there's that too!

UPDATE:
The owner/Manager was very kind and followed up with me so many times. I really thought it was to confront me about my review, however it turned out he wanted to know all the details about the job and offer a replacement value for the broken item.

I would use them again.

My whole two bedrooms and living room were moved in 4,5 hours from Miami Beach to Pembroke Pines, FL.
Not a single plate was shattered. Gentlemen were friendly, courteous, and strong!
They finished up my last packing with their own boxes, paper and bubble wrap.
They covered furniture in bubble wrap and blankets. Great job! I recommend them.
