YOU GET A BOX, YOU GET A BOX, EVERYONE GETS A BOX

If UPS, Home Depot, Lowe's, Staples all fail you with finding that perfect size box then you will be likely find it at Box Galaxy. Most places sell square boxes, I was looking for a rectangular shape. And Box Galaxy had it. Hard to find this size of a box anywhere.

I was specifically looking for a 19x9.5x15 box but they had 20x10x16 for $5.33 and that is the closest I will find. I didn't want to purchase a similar one at UPS for $12 with logo all over it and then have to buy popcorn or bubble wrap for extra to fill the space. Do the

This place is legit. I sell on eBay so I buy boxes often. They have good deals on bulk boxes of any size. I had a large 40lbs item to ship recently. I took the item to them on a Saturday which is my only day off. They were about to close but the gentleman said to leave it there and he would take care of it Monday. Sure enough on Monday I got a call saying my item was boxed and ready to go. I was able to pay over the phone AND they let me email them my shipping label from eBay. It really could not have been any easier!

I rarely need moving boxes but when I do, I go here. The last time I went, I needed a specific size. Unfortunately they didn't carry that size but the sales associate took time to explain to me how to cut down the box to siize. He was very helpful.

We have been getting our boxes and packing supplies at Discount Box Galaxy for years and have also done some shipping of our art there now and again, and have always had helpful service. BUT the reason I decided to write this review is because there is one person that works there, RON, that always goes above and beyond. He is cheerful, extremely knowledgeable and always willing to help. It is SO much appreciated! I have used Box Galaxy for a number of years,- just for boxes. During this pandemic, I had no desire to go to the post office or FedEx. So, I handed him a stuffed (9 pound) Target bag full of non fragile items. He measured it, went over and picked out the box that fit it EXACTLY, taped it up, input the address and gave me a total,- all in less than 10 minutes. At home,- comparing the rates of USPS and FedEx, I had come up with a much higher number. Why? Because I would have used a larger box than I needed to. Good place for a variety of boxes and good customer service. Went in to get a mattress box. These you normally have to buy online but this is one of the few places that offer a thicker grade of cardboard that's not $100.

Subsequently didn't end up using the box, but it was a good experience. The person helping me even folded the box so it would fit in the back of my mid-SUV.

I had a great experience! They helped me with my box selection and the packaging material needed to transport a fragile item across the country.

Some of the reviews talk about rude customer service, but I had a different experience. There was an older gentleman that initially helped me that wasn't bubbly, but that makes sense. In fact, if he was bubbly I'd be concerned. Another guy named JL helped me as well and he rocked.

This place has a huge selection of boxes and packaging material. These guys have what you need. I recommend them.

I purchased approximately $50 worth of boxes, including a couple of mattress bags. I returned one of the mattress bags unopened in perfect condition. They charged me a 15% restocking fee for the return. I could have walked 15 feet and hung it up on the wall where I first go it. Granted, it wasn't a lot of money, but really? When I questioned the clerk, without delay, he said he couldn't do the return without charging the restocking fee. He didn't give a damn. Okay then...I won't be back.
