Most of my clients have the desire to build a home that will bring their families and friends together while enjoying the breathtaking scenery that the Maine Coast, Mountains and Lakes have to offer. I consider these vacation houses 'Boutique Family Hotels'. It allows everyone to be comfortable in their own, private spaces while enjoying the company of their loved ones.
Nestled on the rocky coastline of Kennebunkport, this vacation home has 5 En Suite bedrooms, 2 additional bedrooms with a shared bathroom, open concept living, 3-Season room, generous recreation room, ocean view balconies and everything amenity needed to make a family with lots of guests feel comfortable while enjoying each other and the beauty of the area.
One of only a handful of vacant lots available along the Southern Maine Coastline, my clients were able to fulfill their dream of building a modern oasis within the swaying seagrasses overlooking the tranquil marsh while feeling the ocean breezes flow through the spaces.

This oceanfront home was limited to a 1,700 SF footprint due to its proximity to the ocean and size of the existing house that sat on the lot. Creating a third floor allowed the owners to get the number of bedrooms that they were hoping for. An elevator connects all floors. A kayak trip with my client allowed us to gain inspiration from the existing homes along that coast.
Designed to blend into an established neighborhood, this home was designed with historic details while having all of the modern conveniences needed for a young family. The house has an open concept on the main floor letting in the water views from the large windows. The house includes a third floor office with ocean views and an in-law suite.
Replacing an old 'Grand Damme' hotel that had fallen into terrible disrepair, we were very mindful of the history associated with this property. It was important to replace the old icon with a new icon which also harkened back to a bygone era. We took cues from local structures deemed worthy of inspiration.
This ocean view home was built on a very small lot which was limited by strict Shoreland Zone regulations. My client had a growing family and wanted a home to comfortably entertain out of town friends and family often. This Nantucket style home has 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms with ample Living spaces for all to spread out.
Nestled atop an ocean bluff overlooking authentic fishing huts on a cove in Kennebunkport, my clients wanted to maximize the gorgeous views while setting the stage for this new, ocean side neighborhood. Every room in the house has a view including the loft perched above the vaulted living room. Outside decks and balconies scattered around the perimeter of the home allow for the connection to the outside scenery to flow effortlessly inside.
