Aside from your system's air filtration needs, an excellent way to improve the performance and reliability of the A/C is to wash the condenser coil with a good spray of water. When a neglected coil is cleaned, your air conditioner can more easily reject heat it removes from the air in the house. A cooling capacity increase of 10% is not unusual, and electrical consumption will decrease as well.

We’ve worked w Chris (owner / operator) on a few projects on our house. He’s easy to work with (you can just text him, which is so convenient), very knowledgable (enough to figure out our old HVAC unit), friendly (he even gets along w our slightly neurotic dog), and much more reasonably priced than the big name guys. Highly recommended.

I left a message after hours with a brief description of my issue. He sent me a text with a suggestion to try I tried that nope sent him some photos and after about 10 mins he walked me through and we resolved my issue. Now it was after hours, I have never used his service before my mom had referred me. It’s 104 today and 106 forecasted tomorrow. He went above and beyond. He could have set me up with an appt. charged me a service fee. That speaks volumes to the type of businessman he is. Thank you Chris. Can’t say it enough.

We highly recommend Mountain Air HVAC in Auburn. Chris was knowledgeable, friendly, and resolved our issues quickly. He took the time to explain what needed to be done and gave us the options to do an affordable fix rather than totally replace our system, which is 35 years old. He was courteous and honest---would call him again if the need arises!

Early evening, two days before I was scheduled to leave on an extended trip it appeared my A/C was beginning to fail. I sent Chris a text at about 8:30 at night and he immediately called. He quickly and accurately diagnosed the problem and saved me a lot of worry, cost and trouble. Although he quickly solved the problem and didn't need to come out he said he'd be out the next day if the problem turned out to be different than he anticipated. That's the most amazing customer service I've received from anyone!

Excellent!! Chris exceeded our expectations. He called us back right away, came out within an hour, found and fixed the problem in less than 30 minutes. The charge was extremely reasonable. I would highly recommend him and will use his service again (if needed!) He also didn't try to sell us anything! Big thumbs up!

We just had the extreme pleasure of working with Chris....what amazing service. It was nice to work with an honest heating and AC service after being ripped off by the big guys. Chris diagnosed the problem for $60.00 after Sierra Pacific told us it would be $500.00 to add freon, dye, etc. to find the problem.....none of which was needed! I recommend Mountain Air Heating and Cooling for any maintenance or service concerns. They will be the only company we call in the future!

Mtn Air was great..came out same day, found the problem (ants) within 5 min. Thoroughly cleaned out unit, replaced part and charge was reasonable. Friendly and I felt very comfortable having him (Chris) in my home. Call them first! My first call went to a company that couldn't make it here same day.
