They moved us in record time. We changed our move date, needed storage service at the last minute AND had to wait a bit until we could move into our new home. They rolled with the punches. They were respectful, moved all of my items as if they were their own. They were friendly and incredibly fast. I have recommended them to others and though I have no intention of moving EVER again, if I did, I'd use CMM in a heartbeat!

Note, this review is more about our experience with the owner Danny rather than the movers themselves. The movers were amazing and very professional. Alberto and Edwin were the two that loaded the truck initially with Adam joining them for the unloading. They were excellent and understanding and shared with the frustrations I had with the move.

WORST MOVING EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD. Started at 9AM- they finished at 6:30pm... it was a 3 bedroom apartment, and they made two trips. Their little special they have going on Mondays were they only charge $75 an hour is a JOKE, they scam you. How the hell do you move a 3 bedroom apartment and start at 9am and finish at 6:30pm? Don't get me started on the owner, who isn't even understanding of the customer. Customer is always right! If you plan on spending more then 1,000 on moving I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM. 0/10 THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!!!!! If anybody needs the best movers, call

I had the absolute best experience with this company! I requested a quote on a Tuesday, Ron took the time after working hours to accommodate my request and coordinated three movers for the next day! My move was complicated as there were four stops and required a lot of organization. Riff, Alex, and Nelson met me on time at my storage space and were fantastic at organization, they worked wonderfully together. They were quick and efficient and got the whole job done in exactly 5 hours! The price quote was spot on, it was an incredible deal and I will use Marathon Movers for all future moves.

My move last week was pretty last minute but Maria was so helpful answering my dozens of emails. On the day of the move, Gio called first thing in the morning to update me on the arrival time and they showed up earlier than expected. Gio, Dex, and Beto did such a great job getting my stuff out of the frustrating building I was moving out of and were so awesome moving my stuff to the third floor of a walkup (full three flights of stairs). Pricing was accurate and upfront and they allowed me to pay half in cash and half with Zelle. A+ experience!

While moving my daughter, the driver of their junky truck hit my car while trying to back up in the alley. He didn't really think much of it even though he scratched up my fender of my new car. He told me to file a claim and complaint with the owner. I tried doing that and then the driver denied that he hit my car and the owner backed him up. I even had a witness. They continued to deny that it happened and I got nowhere with their insurance. Total liars and ameteurs. Dishonest and frustrating . Avoid

Pricing is straight forward and they are very organized from an administrative perspective and during the move itself. We had 3 guys since we moved from a high rise to a 3 story walk up. They were on time, communicative, friendly, polite and incredibly efficient! I will definitely hire these movers again.

These guys were great! Super efficient and friendly - got the job done quickly. Pricing was very reasonable and straightforward. I did confirm with them via email twice before our scheduled day to make sure we were set and they replied promptly and assured me they would be there. Everything arrived at our new apartment in one piece and they were able to carefully get some difficult items through tough doorways, small elevators, etc.

When I saw they charge price per hour, I expected them to be working slow. They had no reason to be fast, right?! Wrong!!! They came on time, very professional and kind AND FAST!!!! I was amazed by how great they took care of my belongings in such short amount of time in the crazy heat and humidity.

I used Marathon Movers again for a much closer move across town last week. Juan and Richard were professional (above all), friendly, and efficient. Even though I had to pay the really high end of the month rate, it was still cheaper than all the other options I researched. I even recommended Marathon to strangers on the street (potential lessees in my former building). I don't know of a more glowing endorsement than that! All in all, will use again when I inevitably have to move (though my new apartment and landlords are a dream, so I hope that's not too soon!).

I give this company 5 stars. I reached out to them at the last minute and they responded right away inquiring about timing. Once I was able to provide a list of what was being moved. I was sent a confirmation on date and time. I was called on the day of the move. I was met by Sergio , Erick, and Rambo. All I can say is these guys were absolutely the best. Services were completed within a couple of hours. I definitely recommend this moving team as they get the job done. PERIOD !!!!!!!!

Our family from Chicago to Sacramento and it did not go well. We had quite a lot of damage to the home and were to leave hours after the guys emptied the house. instead, we ended up returning the next day to spend our 20th wedding anniversary scrubbing dirt out of carpet tracked in from the roof deck and trying to patch, sand and paint wall damage. A banister rail was also broken off and our dresser damaged beyond repair. I've attached a few pictures, although I was so upset that I forgot to take pics of most of the damage. Despite the affordable rates, I was pretty disappointed in my move with Chicago Marathon Movers.The owner, Daniel Rodriguez, is unprofessional and a liar who is unable to take any responsibility for his lying employee's actions.
The first lie was that they "had the wrong number" so when they called me at 8:30am to confirm they were on their way, I of course didn't answer, because, well, it was the wrong number. Omg they are truly some pros. Chris and Jevon did an awesome job moving my things from two locations. I've had bad experiences with movers but they were totally different. They were polite, no damage was done, they secured all my belongings, and they did it in a timely manner. It was scorching hot this day and never once did they complain. I will definitely be using their services again.

I wish I could give more stars. AMAZING company, amazing staff. We had, no exaggeration over 100 boxes and 2 bedrooms. Chris, Javon and Pie work together like a well oiled machine. They were all very courteous and careful with all our stuff, and we have a LOT of stuff. We also packed like jerks towards the end of packing and gave up a shoved crap into garbage bags. Pie told us 'Don't worry, we got you, go relax.' When it came time to unload they actually asked which room we wanted boxes in. They made the stress of moving a lot stressful and dare I say it, fun?
