Drywood Termites are up to one-half inch long. Drywood termites create colonies in wood and require very little moisture to survive. Unlike Subterranean Termites, they don't require any direct connection to soil. They eat all types of wood and occasionally other cellulose material like cardboard or books.
Ants are incredible creatures and one of the most successful insects on earth. In nature, ants are a primary source of nutrition for many animals. They aerate more soil than the earthworm and take advantage of every conceivable environmental condition and can be found in every area of the world except for the polar ice caps.
Bedbugs are active mainly at night and usually bite people while they are sleeping. Their initial hiding places are typically in mattresses, box springs, bed frames, and headboards where they have easy access to people to bite in the night. Immature bedbugs, called nymphs, shed their skins five times before reaching maturity and require a meal of blood before each shedding.
Rats can find their way into your attic, crawl space, and in between the walls with ease. According to the Center for Disease Control, rat droppings and urine left behind can contribute to and cause allergies, asthma, bacterial disease, hantavirus, typhus, and a myriad of other issues. They can also carry fleas and mites and other parasites.
A few types of venomous spiders can be found in California. The black widow spider carries poisonous venom that creates fever and illness in adults and can cause severe injury and even death to infants and small animals. It hides in water meters, attics, garages, basements, tool sheds, air conditioning units.

I have used LA Bugs Pest & Termite Control Inc many times. They are quick to respond, and are easy to work with. I also get the impression that they deal with the animals in the most humane way possible. They are well-informed about animal habits...and are glad to share information. Juan and his team were incredibly professional and thorough. They successfully eradicated a nasty rat infestation in our attic. We recently used LA Bugs to have our home fumigate. Fernando and Frank came out to inspect my home and found dry wood termites and subterranean termites. Both gentlemen showed up on time and where professional and answered all my question. Fernando provided me with his personal cell phone number and was here the day the tent came up and came down.I was able to text Fernando through the whole process.
