Services
Grassi Design Group offers a range of services for any job, from master planning to full technical services to consultant and contractor relationships that continue well past the completion of a project. The firm frequently employs the latest in sustainable technology including solar energy, geothermal systems, and indoor air quality solutions, and has designed LEED-accredited and sustainable buildings in recent years.
Grassi Design Group, founded in 1981, is a 10-person office in Boston's South End. Guy Grassi, founder and principal architect, personally brings over thirty-five years of experience to every project. Assisted by one or more of the firm's energetic, innovative designers, Guy works directly with the client to ensure that every project reaches the high standard of precision, craft and thoughtfulness.
Grassi Design Group serves clients, not projects, as evidenced by a vast number of repeat customers. Clients rely on Guy Grassi as a trusted advisor, providing expertise across the range of building and real estate disciplines. While Grassi Design Group has worked in many historic areas in various, established styles, the firm has also produced contemporary works of elegant modernity.
The partnership between the architect and the interior designer does not stop at the office. As a married couple and business partners, Guy Grassi and Lucie Beauchemin share an office and a vision when they collaborate. This coordinated vision and response only benefits the client: no purchasing mark-up, no communication breakdowns, no power struggles.
Building a thoughtful home requires a trusted, knowledgeable professional who can provide guidance every step of the way. Guy Grassi and Grassi Design Group demystify the process step by step, helping our clients analyze their needs, develop a design, choose fixtures and finishes, select a contractor, value engineer the design, bid the job, and manage the construction.
