We will take care coordinating each step of the move, from the floor plan to visualize your new layout, to packing, relocation and unpacking to settle you in. Our downsizing team will sort and organize years of accumulation so you can feel good about what they pack for your move.
As the moving coordinator at Russelville Park I feel confident entrusting our new residents with Managed Moves. Residents and their families questions are answered and care is taken in their downsize to move which creates a smooth transition into our community. Floor plans are a great way to prioritize the furniture you want to move, as well as visualize the layout and storage capabilities. If you are interested in a floor plan, we will measure the furniture you want to choose from during our free estimate. The items will then be inserted into the schematic of your new home, and create a custom floor plan for your needs.
We will have your house empty in 1-2 days in order to get your biggest asset, your home, on the market. Our team sorts everything left in the home into donations, recycling, garbage and environmentally sensitive chemicals. Items are removed, donated and deposited in a responsible manner. On completion, our Managed Moves Estate Clean-Up team hands over a "broom clean" house ready for market.

We needed to move mom from independent cottage into main facility for more care. Her apartment was 1200sf, full of knick knacks, vases, pictures, 5-shelf curio cabinet full of little crystal figurines, lamps, tables, four closets packed full, no corner or cranny of the entire cottage was left without having something in it. We hired Managed Moves to move my parents from Independent Living to an Assisted Living Facility. Sam, Jostas and Javas were really hard working movers, They were able to deal with the regulations from both facilities professionally and efficiently even during COVID-19. We had them move items actually to 3 locations and they were very efficient and organized in doing so. They were very attentive and did a great job on one of the hottest days of the year. I would hire Managed Moves in an instant for my next move. I highly recommend Managed Moves.

Krista and Steve Klemroth have been moving seniors at my senior community for years. They are our first choice hands down, sometimes when they're busy we try and work around their availability just so we can use them. There have been times where we were in a pinch for time and they seem to work it out for us. My only advice other than to use them for moving is to book them in advance. They have a wonderful team of professionals. Our seniors and their families are always complimenting on how efficient, reasonable and punctual they are. I would highly recommend them. The Springs at Tanasbourne recommended them to move us. They gave us a quote but after the move they added hidden costs totally almost $200 more! I questioned them but the movers said we'd have to talk to Steve or office to find out why we weren't told. We couldn't get ahold of either. Therefore, had to pay & find out later. After speaking to office person she said was "sorry you weren't told". I was not happy with that answer but she didn't seem to care. They got our money so they didn't care. Also the movers dropped or didn't wrap our desk drawers

Horrible. Avoid at all costs. Wish I had read earlier reviews before choosing them. This was an in-building move inside a senior facility (near the Lloyd Center). Due to COVID restrictions, neither resident nor family could not be on-site. It took them 2 full weeks to admit damaging an expensive piece of art that had "disappeared." Movers failed to timely communicate important information to facility staff and family, causing much hardship for the resident and facility staff (extra work and costs post-move). They promised much more than they delivered. Very high bill. Very unprofessional

I stopped by the Managed Moves office at 7145 NE Glisan Avenue 97213 yesterday 12.05.18. to get information about their Senior Relocation / Downsizing Services. I wanted to check out their operation in person rather than just rely on their website. Their staff was very helpful and provided great suggestions to help us plan to relocate a family friend in Wilsonville from her home to assisted living.

Managed Moves helped my 88-year-old mother move from independent living to assisted living. I was there the entire time and was impressed with their efficiency, sensitivity, and courtesy. This was a stressful situation for all of us, and they made it as easy as possible. Steven gave us an accurate quote up front, and Billy, Jonathan and Chelsie were careful and considerate. Chelsie found a very expensive earring that we did not realize my mother had dropped behind some furniture. We are very happy with their service.

With very short notice Managed Moves was able to arranged a move from a downtown apartment to an assisted living facility. I contacted them and within 3 days they were able to move our uncle. They were prompt and very responsive. They were able to provide an estimate based on the detailed information I provided. The glass on a framed picture was damaged and they immediately arranged to have it repaired. I was very impressed with the whole move. I was impressed with their honesty and integrity which is very important when moving valuables. Definitely recommend.

My 90+ year old parents used Managed Moves for their move within a senior residence. Even though this was a small move, it was important that the company appreciate the stress that this put on my folks. Billy came out for the estimate. He was wonderfully warm, thorough in making sure he understood everything that needed to be moved, and very sensitive to price concerns. Managed Moves recently helped us move my father between Calaroga Terrace and Courtyard at Mt. Tabor assisted living. They were highly recommended by the staff at Mt. Tabor and were a pleasure to work with. We contracted them to pack my father's belongings and move him into his new apartment. My father was visibly apprehensive about the move and all of the employees who assisted us were gracious with their time and energy, making him feel comfortable and listened to. I had read and heard a lot of good things about this mover and the people at Hearthstone recommended them so elderly mother (92) contacted them arranged for the move. What I found out just before the move was had been confused and said she would need everything moved by them and set up again but this was not true. I was able to contact Krista by phone and she graciously adjusted next day move so that we didn't have to pay extra for the packing and unpacking and were able to save a considerable amount of money. She was great to work with as were the 2 movers that took care of it. Great service

I am moved to write an exceptional review! All puns aside, Managed Moves streamlined my elderly mother's move to an assisted living community. I am impressed with their professionalism, organization and pleasant demeanor. It was not an easy move! Multiple packing and unpacking destinations - handled! No obligation price quote, no down payment and the movers didn't require payment until the job was done. We are limited to Yelp's five stars. If we could we would give them ten!

We were disappointed with our experience in moving my parents to memory care. They came and gave a bid (later called an estimate) and saw what would need to be done. They came in under the other bid we had gotten so we went with them. After a long day of moving, they charged twice what was "estimated". After thinking about it I wrote and asked if they would consider a partial refund and they never answered the email. It felt like we were being taken advantage of after a long and emotional day. Managed Moves provides a service that no other estate clean-up company does -- they take hazardous waste! The other companies I called for estimates said they "don't even touch" hazardous waste materials, such as old paint cans and chemicals. During our move from our house to a much smaller rental house, we had an accumulation of hazardous waste and didn't have the time -- and the vehicle -- to deal with this ugly part of moving. Johnny and Chris separated the waste from the recycling and took all of it away in an efficient and timely manner. I highly recommend Managed Moves

I've used Managed Moves under a different name. I called them to make my second move. They did an amazing job with our move. Everything was packed and wrapped. Peter, Chris, Randy and Claire did the perfect move, packing and unpacking. First move was a house to a condo. This move was a condo to a house. I highly recommend all of them for ur next move!!!

I highly recommend Managed Moves. I coordinated my grandmothers move into assisted living with a short turn around. They helped us with the downsize and the packing. The movers were professional, kind and efficient. I came out as the hero in my grandmother's eyes!

Wow! Managed Moves was amazing! The independent living community my Mother recently moved into recommended MM to me based upon their outstanding reputation and first hand experience with both Managed Moves and several of their past clients. Steve was wonderful and his whole team was so professional and dependable, coordinating everything from start to finish between me and my Mom, the move and the staff at her new location so smoothly. I can't thank you all enough and I still can't believe you made Mom's bed for her before you left!!!
