Services
In California, all movers are required to charge "double drive time." Double drive time means that we do not charge you for the time it takes us to get to your origin, and we also don't charge you for the time it takes us to get back to our branch at the end of the day. Instead, to pay us for this time, we double the time in the middle.
This is my first review on yelp and I am proud to give Miguel 5 stars. His moving company is the best combination of courteous service, hard work, efficiency and PRICE! Miguel quoted me a fixed price which made me feel better about the total cost of my move. He and his guys had to tackle an extra stair case and he gave me boxes to pack with, but he didn't charge me extra.
We take last minute reservations but to guarantee a day and time the more notice the better. The 3 hour minimum means that if we finish the job in 1 hour we will charge you for the 3 hours minimum that you agree on the contract. We move most things, but there are certain things that we cannot move for you.

My two bedroom condo was professionally packed in about 4 hours. They graciously put the household goods in the garage given delays by the shipping company in collecting the items and will return to load everything for shipment. The quality if their work was excellent.. .i have moved about 6 times over the years and their work was among the best i have seen. They arrived on time and asked questions when they were not sure. I would recommend them to anyone planning a move.

ML Movers did a great job on moving my exercise equipment that I purchased from a private owner in a different area. They arrived on time/early, were very respectful, and communicated clearly through the entire process. I had a difficult location to bring the equipment to which was heavy, they worked very diligently and brought it inside without any damage and nothing but smiles.
I called on Saturday afternoon and was able to schedule my move Sunday morning which I never thought I'd be able to do, but I was very happy that they could accommodate my needs.

Damage to my furniture and goods. Damage to my home. And yes, it is my own fault for feeling pressured to sign the paperwork after a 6hr move that I did not inspect all the items moved from my 2bdrm home. I tried to file an insurance claim with Miguel after I found broken furniture pieces hidden in the garage. He told me that I signed the paperwork so it's my own fault. He's right, but he could have been nicer about it since I was a referred customer who could have referred others.

Do not use these movers. I am due back $300 from a deposit to hold my moving date. I paid in cash, and it was supposed to be automatically refunded. It's over a week since they said it would be and have ignored my calls, texts, and emails.
Additionally, during the move there was a scratch that was made on the floor. I called the owner to discuss, and not only was he incredibly rude, but he said "my movers said they didnt do it, so I believe them that is all" and hung up. This was incredibly unprofessional.

I've used ML Movers twice previously 10 years ago and had a flawless experience with them. So I expected everything to be smooth when I used them for a third time.
The movers showed up on time, they were… courteous and they were efficient in packing everything. So I will give them 1 extra star for that. But that's where the positive aspect ends.

But they broke our cot while dismantling the same. Sent them the details as per their instructions and there is no reply for more than 2 months now.

In summary: I do not recommend ML Movers. There are a lot of options for professional movers out there (so keep looking).

Wow. Just wow.
These guys are amazing! Cleaned out our 2br 2ba apartment in an hour and a half and was done with the whole move in 5 hours! The fastest move I've ever had. They had 4 guys and a huge truck. Everything fit in the truck so they only made one trip the entire move. They were professional, courteous and polite- a real pleasure to work with. They even had a sense of humor when carrying boxes up three flights of stairs. Honestly the best moving experience and will recommend to our friends.

These guys were great. Showed up a few minutes early and were ready to work. very quick and efficient and open to late requests. I asked them the morning of to stop by a second location to pick up a table and they had no problems. they also brought extra boxes/packing materials and didn't charge me any extra. The move took an hour more than I expected BUT I don't feel they wasted time or took advantage. Just be prepared for it to take time. my one-bedroom took 5 hours with an hour commute between locations. it was a little pricey but imo still worth it. They also worked hard to schedule

They we flexible engaging professional and responsive. Once we scheduled the time they showed up on time sharp! They were extremely cautious of my items as well as the walls and entrances! The were attentive to all details showed me they are experts on what they do.
I had an extremely heavy elliptical and they knew exactly what to do!
In summary I highly recommend them and would and will use them again without hesitation!

Excellent service, great experience. I scheduled a move for a start time of between 2-3:30 pm on a Friday. ML Movers showed up exactly at 2 pm and were ready to go. They were quick, professional, careful and friendly. I appreciated them wrapping my dresser and large picture to avoid damage and also wrapping my mattress to keep it clean. I highly recommend them.

I believe its called "switch and bait marketing" and doubled the price of the work. I have tried several times to reason with Miguel but he refuses to acknowledge his unethical business practice. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Do yourself a BIG favor. Sort the Yelp reviews "Newest First" and look at all the 1 STAR reviews recently.
I have used ML Movers 3 times since 2012. The first 2 times went perfect. The 3rd move they did for me Jan 2018 was a COMPLETE DISASTER. The lies, denials and lack of responses from the owner (Miguel) added salt to the injury also, and really show the true colors of what this person is.
Looking at the recent 1 star reviews for ML Movers, I guess they must have changed ownership between my 2nd and 3rd move. Sigh, I guess one should always check the latest

Do not engage with this company. I requested a quote and they were first to respond, but then sent a unnecessarily long and detailed contract that requires some time to respond. After sending it late in the evening, they called at 8:00am the next morning as I was dialing into an important call for work. I asked if they can call later today because it was not a good time. It was a perfectly cordial discussion...and then I received this response.

We thought we had another successful move, until we started unpacking all of our boxes at our new place. One by one we started to realize that we couldn't find a number of objects. At first we chalked it up to things that get lost sometimes when you move, but the list started to grow and all the objects just happened to be rather small and valuable. Too big of a coincidence
