Mariano was quick to respond to request. His pricing was reasonable and the quality of his work was second to none. He had to refurbish manufactured wood with stains and other issues. All I can say is WOW! He managed to make it look like a brand new floor. Mariano was on time every day. He is trustworthy as we had to be out of town and he had complete access to the house. Mariano and his team did a fantastic job refinishing our original hard wood floors! We are so happy with the outcome! Our home was built in 1913 and is a historical landmark. He installed matching wood in a new area, replaced and laced missing and damaged planks and thoroughly blended and restored the existing original first story floor of a 1950's charmer. Mariano is amazing!! We had our floors refinished by another company and after 3 1/2 weeks to complete, the finish peeled! We called Mariano and he met with us within a few days! Old World Craftsman has refinished floors for our property management company for over 10 years. Mariano, the owner, and his crew have always been prompt, clean (as clean as hardwood floor refinishing can be--if you think you won't have to clean the window blinds when they're done, think again. This is just part of the reality of having hardwood floors refinished!), and professional.

Mariano has a particular talent for patching bad pieces of wood using materials that he has collected over the years, or from closets where it isn't so noticeable.

Amazing job from the start by Mariano and his team. They came in mid-bathroom renovation for us, and were able to salvage our craftsman wood flooring from the bathroom to use and lay in another area of our bedroom that needed to be filled in. We had another company quote us for the same work and they said the only way to do it was to trash the bathroom wood and get new flooring for the fill in, which obviously Mariano disproved very quickly. Worked very well with our schedule and have accommodated all of our requests/needs, which really helps to ease the stress of remodeling. Bonus star for great

He replaced our kitchen floors with hard wood to match the original from 1942! Then refinished the whole house, including closets. Replaced some old door boards and finished the floor going into the garage so it flows.
