Aloha movers did an excellent job for us on what had turned into a difficult move. We had planned to do a lot of things ourselves but life happened and we found ourselves the day before our move not fully packed and not ready. We called in a panic and Aaron and Jim were able to come pack that night. Aaron was there again the next day with a crew to move us.
They really bailed us out and went above and beyond for us. Nothing broken. Move went fast and efficient.
The only downside is I think they forgot the pineapple. For the service provided I am happy to overlook it though.

Eric and Bobby are the best! They are worth every penny, I left the room for a minute and they had everything dismantled and ready to be loaded. They were extremely patient with my 5 year old, who was their shadow the whole time. They unloaded everything fast and even gave me recommendations for the area I moved to. Not to mention the eye candy . Hire them, ask for Eric and Bobby, you won't be disappointed.

I rarely write reviews, my experience was so bad and awful with Aloha Movers I will NEVER do business with them again. **Buyer beware**
I live in downtown SD and when you move into a high-rise condo you have to schedule a window to move usually from 8-12 or 1-5 on a weekday. I had scheduled a move out window from 8-12 and a move in window with my new condo 1-5. Movers came late to the first window(10am) and finished packing my stuff at 12pm. They stated they wanted to move right into my new condo right away, I explained that they couldn't as the second condo wouldn't be ready til 1pm

They did a fair job of moving everything from an apartment to our new home. They didn't take credit card, only cash. When I asked the lead mover if he had change, he said, "what do I look like, a bank?" I don't know, but if you only take cash for payment, that kind of makes you a bank. I know I'm not one. The final bill was $611. So, I factored in the $89 extra dollars that should have been change as part of their tip, as well as some additional for the guys. The lead mover didn't consider the extra $89 as part of his tip, and let me know that he'd "let it

The people who came to move my stuff were unprofessional. They complained about having to move my stuff a distance. They left a bunch of stuff still in my apartment including a box they packed. The glass from my coffee table was left on the lawn. They left their material all over my apartment. When I looked at how the material was packed it looked like it was thrown into the storage unit. Worst experience I’ve had moving.

Aloha Movers came to move my house full of furniture and did a remarkable job, not a lot of furniture but really heavy. They moved it into a house with 2 sets of stairs
And a winding staircase and took extra careful not to mark the walls.
I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for movers to do a great job, very friendly and extra cautious with my precious cargo.

Aloha Movers is by far the best small moving company in the business. We've made 3 moves in the last 4 months after selling our home in South Carlsbad, settling into temporary housing and eventually moving into our newly remodeled home in Oceanside.

Now my family and I are settled in our new place. It's been a month since moved. We actually had a few issues with Aloha movers. Just been patient of doing back and forth communications. What I have told them were to inform in prior to they occurred.
-- They came home in prior to the moving day for packing, which was good. It took only one hour. Unfortunately minimum hour charged was 3 hours that I was notified. I thought they could just come home on the moving day for pack if they knew it would not take time.

We hired Aloha Movers for our move from San Diego to Laguna Beach at the end of January. The movers arrived on time, were very efficient, and completed our move without any issues. Nothing broke, and everything was placed exactly where we had asked. This was the first time I moved where I wasn't charged the maximum estimated quote and was actually charged on the lower end of the estimate.
I was so happy with the move, I gave a generous tip for all three movers (but I gave the lead-mover $20 extra because he was in charge and made everything flow perfectly).

I used Aloha Movers to move locally from North San Diego to Chula Vista. They called when they were on their way and arrived earlier than the agreed hour. They provided the promised wardrobe moving boxes, the verified inventory and wrapped all furniture to protect vs. scratches, and they really made sure everything was done correctly. Have used Aloha for both moves since living in San Diego. The most recent time they packed us up too. I started to help then quickly realized I was just getting in the way and left it to the pros! If and when there's a next time, I'm coming back to Aloha. P.S. I've also enlisted their services for some light business/office moves which they were able to accommodate nicely, even with the building moving guidelines and time restrictions.

I sold my condo and purchased another home and needed to hire a moving company. I called around and Aloha Movers were very helpful, professional, and answered all my questions. On moving day they arrived on time, worked diligently, and made sure my furniture was wrapped properly so nothing was damaged. I highly recommend this company.

The guy who answered the phone when I called went out of his way to get me scheduled for the following day. The guys that moved my belongings were super professional and efficient! Aloha Movers took the "stress out of moving" and made the transfer rather painless. Anthony and the other two guys were prompt, professional and work quickly, non-stop. Nothing was damaged either, they also laid down drop cloth to protect our flooring too. I liked the fact they used "stretch plastic wrap" on all our glass bookcases, covered from top to bottom.
They also maximized the available 10 x 15 storage unit to neatly fit our 2-bedroom condo household, including washer and dryer, I was very impressed with their organized manner.

The best. All of the employees at Aloha that I either spoke with on the phone (Aaron, Buddy), or the movers (Chris and Andrew) were kind, helpful and polite. We are in our 50's and decided we didn't want to lift and move anymore, so we had the Aloha boys move our items from one storage company to another. They were quick, efficient and all around good guys. I will definitely be calling them next time we move anything.

Have used Aloha movers twice now and both times everything went great. Moving is no fun but I have been able to make moves smooth because I have the maid pack everything up, Aloha moves it and the maid unpacks. Yes that sounds like I sit back and that is the idea. If you can afford to spend a few bucks make your life easier and get movers and perhaps get someone to help you pack. My goal when I move is to make it as smooth as possible and Aloha certainly helps with that!
