This is the first time I've used movers and it was a great experience. I had a 3-person crew load up my two-story home in 2 hours, well below the estimated time. Everyone was friendly but also working fast and diligently. They were priced very well compared to other companies I researched and the staff is always super helpful when I call. Their customer service has been wonderful and I'll continue to use them in the future.

This was the worst moving experience I’ve ever had. I should have known they were incompetent when they had to ask me 3 different times for my address which I included on the form listing all my items. I spent weeks packing and labeling all my boxes. I got severely sick in the middle of the move and had 103.5 fever when we got to the new house. I showed the guys the different rooms and then fell asleep on my couch. Unfortunately the movers didn’t wake me to sign off and had my senior parents sign for me. When I woke up I had boxes clearly labeled as garage in my kitchen and boxes clearly labeled

William and Caesar and the rest of the team (four guys total) moved our law practice out of a class A building on Capitol Mall into another class A building on Capitol Mall.
These guys had amazing energy to get things done. Despite delays due to building elevator shut downs, and building blockage of the loading dock, William and the rest of his team were energetic and managed to compensate to keep the estimate on track (again, no fault of the team, just a building hiccup).
We really appreaciate their enthusiasm, conscientiousness, and ability to get the job done right.

Most people don't really like to move. With the help of a CR Moving storage I was able to make my relocation much easier. From the very beginning I was treated with respect and courtesy. We used CR Moving Services for our move from Northern CA to the central coast. They provided a fair & accurate quote and had great customer service & communication. We made a mistake and packed both sets of our RV keys in the moving truck and didn't realize the mistake until the truck had already left. Their team unloaded the truck to find the keys we needed and was very helpful. I was very nervous about using a moving company for the first time especially for a long distance move but it was a great experience. William was the lead on our job and was phenomenal. Highly recommend!!

We had our move scheduled for last Friday the 4th of September. I was beyond impressed by the organization, and communication through the whole move. They ended up being done almost 2 hours earlier. Also everything was wrapped perfectly if your looking for movers that are reasonable and do a great job, book them!

We utilized CR for packing household goods for a long distance move (Seattle company). They estimated 3 days, but only packed for 1 1/2+ days. On the final day, things were just being thrown into boxes with no wrapping or sorting. The long distance movers were not happy with the way boxes were not properly packed, and had to re-pack some of those boxes. Their charges were rather high, particularly for the services as received.

We used CR Movers to transport our household furniture and boxes we had packed ourselves. The distance was less than 3 miles (from one part of Natomas to another). I should have gotten the hint when Paul came to give the estimate and started to complain about his Chinese wife that there was something not "right" about this company. He recommended that we use three men for this short haul job. Turned out that one of them just stayed in the truck most of the day on his phone and 'filling out paperwork'. They charged us for excessive rest periods that exceeded the 15 minutes allowed

This company ripped me off, do not use them! They were very nice and fairly reasonable at the get go and the loading was good, efficient, and the men they had hired were very easy to work with. HOWEVER it was a different story on the other end. These men who unloaded my things, many valuables , were very rough, in a big hurry and broke many things, such as a leg off a table , a wheel off an office chair, scratches on several pieces of furniture. WARNING: Do NOT use this company! They will rip you off! We have moved many times over the last few years and this was by far the worst of all. This company was extremely unorganized and inefficient. The movers stood around talking and smoking all throughout the day. One truck sat at the new house for an hour waiting for other truck because they didnt have runners to start the unload process and this is time we had to PAY for. Our move was supposed to be completed in one day, and it ended up taking two. We did not expect to have to spend the next day moving in as wel, which was a huge inconvenience

Hired C&R movers to move the final items from house and garage wife had had enough of self moving should of had C&R move us from the start. Moving is stressful under the best of circumstances. These guys were careful, efficient and so helpful. I'm always a skeptic about movers and worry continuously about dinged up furniture- they seemed more worried than me and took every precaution to protect my furniture. When I did have an issue it was taken care of quickly and completely to my satisfaction.
I would absolutely used them again and 100% recommend them to anyone.

Be warned of the last minute document they present to you on moving day that authorizes them to add additional time to the original estimate (in my case an additional $700) in case they go over the time and YES they conveniently went over exactly that additional time and left items on the contract for me to move myself.

I used CR Moving to move my late father's belongings out of storage in Antelope and to a location in Elk Grove for an estate sale. I was quoted just over $400 total. The move ended up costing over $700 - so double what I was quoted. The movers themselves were really good and professional, but I was unhappy about the surprise cost, but too weary to fight.

Paul is the owner of this family business and is super personable and helpful. Moving is stressful enough, but CR Moving's full service move makes it so much more bearable! So Ryan did get back to me after seeing The Yelp review etc, he went above and beyond to get us some money back, including the excess packing that we had been charged incorrectly.
I think they have the right ideas, but need to be careful when they trust other companies, even if they are part of National Van Lines.

I recently moved from Roseville to Mt. View. I had made many phone calls to get quotes on what the cost would be; Ryan, from CR services, was the only moving company who came out to look at what I had to move. I wouldn't hire them to move a dog house.,scratched my end table, let the garage door down on the hood of my car, chipping paint, scratch paint off the wall when they slid the TV into the entertainment slot on the wall, over charged me $1300+ and still didn't move all my stuff, and want to come back 2 days later to complete the move. I couldn't… wait 2 days later so I had to hire someone else to complete the job. I paid them what I thought the job was worth ($800)and now they want to take me to small claims court for the balance. I should be taking them to small claims court.

This company obviously says whatever it takes to get your business and then the day of forces you to sign a "Will Not Exceed" contract. This legally allows them to charge you over and above their quote and say "Hey look, you agreed to this! You could have stopped our services at any time." Right, as if you can just up and stop moving.
**It should be noted, my bill was not reduced to $428.00; rather I was charged the amount I was forced to sign the day of our move.**
