Meet "Lou" the founder of PACNBOX Movers. Lou's first job at 17 was working with a moving company in San Francisco. He fell in love with the moving business and at the age of 24 he obtained his first PUC permit which allowed Lou to pack people up and move them to their new home. At this point he worked for van lines and traveled all over the United States.

My husband and I had a great experience with Lou and his crew at Pac N Box Movers. They moved two trucks load of furniture from Sacramento to Folsom for us and we had no problems at all. I had a small move which only required a couple hours. The owner forgot to put me on his schedule so when nobody showed up I phoned and he was super apologetic. He had a couple men and a huge truck at my place in 2 hours. Now, the men who helped me were AWESOME. Reggie was a seasoned pro and was teaching the younger man the tricks of moving a big piece up and down narrow stairs. They were fast and wanted to make sure I got my full value for the 2-hour minimum so helped me rearrange and move stuff around in my new place until their time was up. If I ever have to move again this is my go-to company

What a saving grace this company is. It all started with Lou. My previous movers bailed on me the day prior and I needed movers in a hurry. Lou reassured me that they can do it. The best part they didn't extort me for extra money and a high minimum! They were honest and honored their pricing after the move so no surprises like others. This the second time we used Pac N Box. 1 of the 2 person crew claimed they could not fit everything in one trip. The other guy assured me it would be tight but believed it could be done. The truck was loaded in about 3 hours with small portion of items that "did not fit." The unload was quicker. I had about 10 boxes that did not get did not get in the right places but worked efficiently, hard and consistently from start to finish.

I contacted the company and spoke with Lou in regard to moving my daughter from Willits, CA to Sacramento. He thoroughly explained the process and the cost which put me at ease. Closer to the move, I asked if he could arrive earlier which meant he would leave Sacramento at 6:00 am. He guaranteed me he would be there with his crew. Five years later, we bought a house and hoped these guys would drive all the way back to Auburn to move us again. Sure enough, Lou was great on the phone and even remembered the guys that moved us the first time. He put us on the schedule with one of the two guys from our prior move. I was beyond impressed with how hard these guys work, how professional they were and all the "little things" they did to make our move so much easier. Not a nick, scratch, bump or dirt anywhere! We practically had to force them to take a break and we worked them for seven solid hours!! I cannot say enough

Went with Pac N Box for our move from Sacramento to Portland a few months ago. The choice was easy when they had the quickest turn around time of all the companies I spoke to (4-5 companies) and were willing to attempt to move everything. The move went very smoothly and owner Lou waited a little longer before leaving till I was able to bring the screws to put my bed back together! All of the staff were friendly and professional, and made sure we were happy with the placement of furniture before leaving. I highly recommend this company for your move.

This company is the very best! I have used Lou for 2 long distance moves. Lou and his crew, Buck, Glen and Eric were absolutely fantastic. They all made a VERY difficult situation into one with no stress. They are totally professional and helped me keep a sense of humor when I need it!!!! I love these movers. I've used them 4 years ago and again this move and referred them to my sister who used them twice.
We had Mark and Tom. Great personalities. Fast hard workers and funny!!!! They are big time animal lovers so that's always a win in my book!

I have used several moving companies, but Pac N Box Movers were the best! The guys arrived early, started right at 8 am and had the truck loaded in 30 minutes. They were very careful with all of our items that came from a 3 bedroom home. Both men were polite and friendly even at 8 am on a Sunday morning. The price was right and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this company. Being locally owned, they will have my business and referrals in the future! This was my first experience ever using a moving service; my boyfriend recommended Pac N Box. Two guys assisted with my short move with their semi in tow. They were quick, efficient, and were armed with all the necessary equipment (dolly, ties to keep the fire doors open, blankets, wardrobe boxes, etc.). They even took apart & put back together my bed frame. One guy was dripping sweat, but considering the three flights of stairs and summer weather, I gave him a pass and accepted that I would have to wash my couch covers and wipe down my tables.
