Here are some moving tips that are easy enough for the most disorganized folks out there:. You will probably be too tired to unpack once you get to your new place. Pack an overnight bag that has pajamas, change of clothes, toiletries, laptop and cell phone charger. This will allow you to take a shower at the new place after the move and getting ready the next morning will be so much easier.

Getting in the "groove to move" is hard for anyone. Whether you are packing up your home of 5 months or 50 years, there is much to be done. We've put together these tips to help you make moving go as smoothly as possible.
So now you're moving! It is time to get organized. The more organized you are before the move, the easier it will be for you when you start unpacking at the new place. First, look around your place and identify the things you no longer need. Maybe it's a treadmill that has been collecting dust for months, or clothes you haven't worn in a while.
Moving can be a strangely public process. Between cleaning out the closets and hauling things off to donate, leaving items out at the curb for pickup, and loading up the truck, all your possessions - and the fact that you're in transition - is on display for all the world to see. There are all kinds of scenarios that may present a security risk.
You may have seen the term "broom clean" or "broom swept" in real estate contracts. But that doesn't mean you should just give your home a once over to knock away the cobwebs and collect the pet hair from behind the couch. Broom clean condition differs for home owners and renters. When moving out of a rental property, the place should be returned to the condition it was when you moved in to it.

TNT are the absolute best movers I've ever had the pleasure of working with. Every step of the way, they were kind and courteous and went out of their way to make sure I understood their specific process so that our move could be as efficient and cost effective as possible. They charge by the hour, plus a truck fee, and while I was worried that could add up if it ended up taking longer than anticipated, Todd estimated it would take six hours and it took exactly that. Although I had not previously heard of T-NT Moving, we decided to use them for the move of our home based on the recommendation of a friend. These folks have moved me (it use to be us) many times. I am not subjective just because I went to the same college with one of the owners either. Not only are their employees professional, but they are courteous, know their business and as I mentioned, actual employees of the company. My last move was shortly after my husband suddenly passed away. I was not in good form. Tom and Todd, took good care of me in planning everything. Their folks were very patient with me that day when I was not sure what I really needed to be doing. Thank goodness they knew.

The team at T-N-T Moving did an amazing job on my relocation move from NW Arkansas to Charlotte, NC. I never understood what a difference personalized service could make in a household move, but Todd and Josh both made sure that things were taken care of in a personal and professional manner. Recently moved from Mooresville to Charlotte. I can't say enough great things about this team. They were on-site promptly at 8:00 am and had my move fully completed by 11:30 am! They had also moved me into the place so were already familiar with my place. Great care was taken and everything moved without a scratch or any broken items. Matter of fact I had a dozen eggs in a cold box and not a single egg was broken. Highly recommend.

We have completed four moves with TNT in the past year between 2 homes and storage units and we could not have asked for a better team to work with. All of our moves went very well from the personal care of our items to the efficiency of the team to the extra mile they were willing to go to assist with items once in the home. These guys are professionals in every way and we had a wonderful moving experience with their assistance. Moving is stressful! Moving your senior parents ...OMG, but with TNT Moving that stress is not nearly as bad as it could be. Their team from start to finish were amazing! They treated my parents and their furniture like they were their own. Respectful, professional and service with a smile (masked).
You may find a cheaper "Johnny come lately", but you will be buying a lot of new replacement furniture. Bag the rest and hire the BEST!

We used TNT for a local move a few years ago and they did such a great job that we decided to use them to pack our moving truck for an out of state move. When we received our trailer we realized that they did not do a very good job of wrapping/loading and a bunch of our stuff was damaged and broken. We rented a ton of moving blankets so this wouldn't happen and they didn't end up using over half of them, and we saw the result of that. Would not recommend them to load for a long distance move, we were very disappointed.

TNT Moving systems is hands down the best moving service I've ever had to use. The level of professionalism and service demonstrated by the team is 2nd to none. I couldnt believe how quickly the movers were able to load, haul, and unload. Previous movers spent 7+ hours to move a simple 2 BR apartment, but the guys at TNT Moving had everything completed in 3 hours!

Of all the moving companies I have called to do a simple office job of moving filing cabinets, these guys were very accommodating and super nice and mostly very very reasonable while other places were quoting me insane prices. Ken & Isaac arrived early. Truck was perfectly organized. Really nice guys. The owner Todd personally answered or returned my call ASAP.

We choose this company based on their great reviews. I just wish we had the same experience as everyone else seemed to have. They were prompt, efficient and friendly. However, they were not careful with our things. They don't wrap the furniture until it's on the truck, which would be fine except that they banged up the furniture on the way out. One of the movers tried to take our dining room table out of the door, and when it wouldn't fit he continued to keep banging it against the door frame like it was going to somehow fit through the door. Several of our things received scratches

Moving is one of my least favorite things to do and I've been burned in the past with other moving companies. I entered into my move this past weekend hesitant, but I quickly had a change of attitude after meeting the crew from T-N-T Moving Systems. Joe, Josh, and Ken did a local Charlotte move for me last weekend and it was FLAWLESS! They demonstrated professionalism, were courteous, very friendly, and extremely efficient. I felt like the were very respectful of my time (service is billed by the hour) while at the same time not rushing through packing so my belongings would be secure

TNT was the only moving company I called willing to schedule me without knowing how much stuff I needed to move or where I was going. I had sold my home and had 2 weeks to get as much stuff sold as I could and move the rest to storage. They were very accommodating!
The crew arrived on time, didn't complain or pressure me for tips as other companies have done in the past. They were courteous, took good care of my things and worked efficiently.
