Critical: Professionalism
I’m not sure if it was the first day on the job for our movers, but our experience was terrible. A studio apartment and a distance of 2 miles took them almost five hours and that was with us helping them. Slow is an understatement. To add to our disappointment, they lost a leg to the bed!!

The three gentlemen who came were so easy to work with! When I asked how I could help, they said to sit back and relax. They treated each box, suitcase and piece of furniture as though it was their own. The street where they were supposed to pick up some furniture was being paved - of all days and with no notice!!! - and the guys went to another location to pick up additional items and then went back. They're quick, efficient and personable. If I have to move ever again, I will certainly be calling PhilaGorilla Movers!!!

I am SO glad I found this company! My move was probably the only part of my home sale process that went right. The PhilaGorilla crew (Justin, Racquan, and Weston) was fantastic from start to finish. Good communication, friendly, professional, and super accommodating -- I needed different items taken to two different locations, and they packed the truck accordingly and efficiently. I had a great experience moving with Raequan, Will, and Wes. A year ago, I used a different moving company that moved fewer items and took over 7 hours, but they did my move in 4.5 hours - it was so impressive! They handled items with care and were a pleasure to work with. I would definitely use this company again.

I was so stressed about moving day because I had to do it alone. David, Jay, and Quan showed up and immediately put my mind at ease. They were extremely professional, and it was obvious that they have a lot of experience with moving. They took great care of my furniture and took time to wrap the big pieces with care. Even though they are paid by the hour, they hauled butt the entire time. They worked so hard all day. I didn't have to lift a finger while they loaded everything up, and while they unloaded, I was able to start unpacking. They reassembled my furninture in the new house and set it all

Nothing but good things to say about Nelson and his crew (Ryan and Marcus). Professional and efficient. Touched base with us the night before to discuss the narrow streets of Philadelphia and where would be the best place to load and unload. Had no trouble with the amount of stairs in either of our homes. Came prepared, as they had to take the legs off of our couch to get it through the doorway, and then reattached in our new home. Made a very stressful situation stress free. I would recommend them to anyone looking for quality movers.

I’m a dog walker , new to this company and was told to use the freight elevator at 2601 Pennsylvania ave. The clients didn’t tell me that the freight was reserved and after I dropped off my Clients dogs, one of the movers was very rude to me and told me “not to use his freight elevator” . When I told him I’m not coming back for the day, I’m just the dog walker he got even more rude “just don’t use it today”. I tried to calmly explain my position as I understand his. We are all trying to do our jobs here. Not necessary to be angry and it’s not even hot out today.

I am truly upset and disappointed at the same time. I was looking for movers to move my 3 story house on 11-19 -20. I was contacted by them on 11-18- 20. And was given an apt. time of 8 in the morning which was fine. Only to be called back and was told that they made a mistake and double booked so can I take the 3 pm slot instead I said sure no problem. I didn’t get a follow up call. The only call I received was the movers at 2:53 telling me they just finished their first move and was on their way to me but wanted to stop to get something to eat first. ( His name is/ was Ryan. Hired these guys to move my 2 apartment sized storage unit into a 3 story house with a 3 man crew. They were excellent! Crew communicated their arrival, navigated a nightmare of a parking situation, were very efficient, courteous and practiced great COVID protocols by being masked the entire time. They did a great job being careful in our new construction and my wife and I were very grateful. Would highly recommend!
