This past weekend my husband and I used 485 Movers and were thoroughly impressed. Alex was able to answer all of my questions surrounding my moving experience prior to the move date and even called during the move to ensure everything was going well. My husband and I had packed some of our stuff prior to the move but ran out of time and boxes before our move date. The team of movers were awesome they did a great job packing our items with care. Would recommend this moving company to all friends and family without a second thought. Some of the most helpful and efficient movers I've ever hired. It is fascinating how quickly these guys move while carrying heavy furniture and boxes, which matters a lot since they charge an hourly rate. When booking the job the woman on the phone suggested that if I pack myself it will take them less time to move me and it will be more affordable. Although I ran out of time and couldn't do much packing, I'm glad I didn't waste my time. What would have taken me 2 days of organizing and packing took these guys

They also don’t waste any time and move quickly and carefully so I was able to go about my day in less than two hours after they arrived. I chose this moving company based off some good reviews I read on another site or I must've been looking at another company. The low score is based off the speed and carelessness of the (2) men who assisted with my move from a (2) bedroom apartment on the 1st floor into another (2) bedroom apartment on the 3rd floor (elevator equipped). I scheduled 2 men to move a 1 BR apartment for 2 hours with a 10 minute commute. First of all, they were 15 minutes late then it took them 2 hours just to load my items into the truck. They took their time and were not efficient at all, taking 1 box at a time. They did move a little faster after I called the office, but they gave the excuse that the 1 set of stairs they went up were steep (they are normal stairs) and that my boxes were heavy. Upon arrival to my brand new construction townhouse, they used a dolly, but was not very careful with it on my new hardwood floors causing some minor damage

They move EVERYTHING! And pack it too, very carefully. I hired them for a recent move. They were a few hours late due to inclement weather. But I got several notifications via call/text from the dispatcher in advance. I was able to get GPS screenshots to keep me updated. My place was just under 1k square feet.
