These guys are awesome, they were so fast. They moved my entire life contents of my apartment in under two hours, and to my new apartment in about 1. They also disassembled and reassembled my furniture in that time as well. I'm so happy I hired professional movers and my back is too. I will definitely hire them for my next move.

I've lived in my current place for over 20 years, accumulating WAY too much stuff, and the time has come to move... fortunately, not too far away. To save my sanity, the move is happening in stages. On Monday, I called Jay's Small Moves, explained the situation, and told them what I wanted to move during stage 1. They were very clear and up-front about charges, told me of the 2 hour minimum, and said that the base cost could be reduced if I booked my second move at the same time. Score!
They then asked when I wanted to move... when I said "Wednesday

There seems to be a wide variation in move quality by team so do your homework!
We had a great estimate process and communication was great during our 2 day move.
Day 1 we worked with Ronnie and team and the process was really fast and smooth.
On day two, we had 2 trucks and Fernando was the lead. He was great but had 2 other movers who seemed to be new and struggled throughout the day and didn't seem well trained. My floors were scratched, I have dents/scratches on the legs of my furniture.
The worst part was how they organized and unpacked the trucks--my garage shelves were in the

I had never used movers before but the level of professionalism, communication and overall efficient team (thanks Joe and Brian) that this company brings I would highly recommend. I had a brand new home and everything went well without a hitch. I will be surely using them again in the future. This was my first time using movers! I needed things done quickly, efficiently, and respectfully. I picked the right place with some help from previous customers. Even my realtor led me here! The service was super helpful from start to finish! The gentleman on the phone answered all my questions and the company organized plenty of reminders and emails. The 3 guys who did the moving were really fast and patient with me as I had no idea where everything was going! The only only drawback is if you want good service you will pay, it is pricey but I decided to pay for peace of mind!

My entire experience with Jay's Small Moves was great start to finish. I called them, got a quote, booked a time, filled out an inventory list and we were all set.
Joe and Ru were even a little early on Saturday morning for my move, and quickly assessed that they needed a third person for my stuff, and Francisco arrived in 10 mins. These guys moved FAST, and were fun and communicative the whole time. At my new apartment they hauled a lot of HEAVY stuff up a flight of stairs like they were light pillows. Completely recommend - a reasonable price, an easy move, and a great time with Joe, Ru

They followed up with emails and the day before called and emailed to confirm again. I recently moved and reserved Jay's Small Moves for the trek.
Communication:
Lots of emails (better to over-communicate though than hear nothing) and calls. I appreciated that they wanted to make sure of everything. They did unfortunately somehow get my address wrong, which we luckily caught during the final call the morning of.

Joe and Ru took care of everything and were great! They brought the necessary tools to bring everything down from my apartment to their truck (boxes, dollys, tape, furniture covers, etc.). They were also super nice and

Great experience with moving my nephew into his first apartment. Ronnie, Chris and Francisco knocked out about 35 boxes , a large desk and office chair in less than 2 hours ( About 5 miles between point point A to B and up a flight of stairs). Ronnie even had some encouraging words for my nephew as they were finishing up.

We have used Jay's at least 3 or 4 times now for various sizes of moves. They are fantastic. This most recent time we needed some help packing a few rooms and moving furniture in advance of some demolition work in our house. We called them and they came the NEXT DAY. They were super communicative throughout - including giving us a 15 minute arrival heads up.

Even though I was only moving a bedroom worth of stuff, I quickly realized that it was more than my rag tag group of friends could handle. I did a quick search on Yelp and selected Jay's. They responded so quickly I didn't continue the search. And they were available in 4 days so that I could move into my new house quickly.

Years ago I had use Jay's Small Moves with my local move and found myself once again impressed with the team. George took care of the appointment and moving details. Chris and Joe arrived early and was mindful of time and moved promptly. The move took about 4 hours, you'll want to make sure that you're all packed but they also do have packing services that they offer. Lots of communication before the move so you're kept in the loop. Furniture was taken care of (disassembled) and assembled at the new location. Highly recommend - thank you again Chris and Joe!

I HATE moving with a passion! I wanted something affordable and reliable and stress-free and discovered Jay's Small Moves based off of a recommendation in a chat thread on my company intranet site.
The recommendation was spot on! Not only is their website straight forward on their tips and hints for packing and preparing for the movers' arrival, but their staff makes contact with you several times via email, text and calls to further settle any pre-move jitters one may have.

I had a fantastic experience with Jay’s Small Moves for a local move in SF. There were hiccups outside of their control (misplaced truck parking permits by the city, loading dock not opened as scheduled), but the team was chill and rolled with it. They’re great to work with!
I’d pick Jay’s again if I needed another move or furniture removal in the future, hands down. Highly recommend!

These guys were OUTSTANDING! Hire them for your peace of mind.
1. Punctual and communicative: They called when on the way and a few days out to confirm all our needs. Tip: call is better than email--they always picked up but struggled with email reply.
2. Professional: We had 3 movers for around 30 boxes, some small furniture and fragile items (like electric keyboard). We packed ourselves. They took care to explain how fragile items were going to be moved and protected. They had a clear system and moved everything efficiently. The WHOLE job was completed in 2.5 hours even when the move in location
