The first company I was supposed to move with ended up having horrible reviews, thank goodness I found Agility Van Lines. Agility Van Lines saved us! Shane (owner) personally called to book a move with me, that really meant a lot. Our move was from IL to MD and on pickup and arrival the driver, Steven, and his team called ahead of time, loaded and unloaded the truck quickly and efficiently, and was very nice and accommodating. They took great care of all of our belongings and wrapped everything with care. Would definitely use and recommend Agility Van Lines again and again!

We hired Agility van Lines to move our son's belongings out of two different storage units in Morganfield, Ky to Southport, Fl. The guys were really great. The foreman Isiah Burnell and the two other workers were very efficient, and friendly. They took very good care of all the furniture, and boxes. The move went so smooth from beginning to end and that was scary. The people at the office were also friendly and did not give me any flack with all the times I had to postpone the move waiting for my son to get everything set up. I selected Agility Van Lines to move household goods from several storage units in Indiana to a residence in Michigan (300 miles). This was following a very disappointing and harrowing experience with a local mover who moved the personal items into the storage units in mid-2021. Agility was chosen based on significant research of 3 competing quotes. While Agility was not the cheapest they had the most favorable ratings, least number of complaints, and owned and operated their own trucks with their own employees.

We moved from Maryland to Tennessee in 2021. Our move involved 5 months of storage so we experienced the full range of Agility's service. From the initial intake with John to dealing with Denise and Shane throughout, we could not be more satisfied. This is a highly professional organization. They deliver on what they say. We have a special shout out to Cornelius our driver on both ends and Scott his assistant upon delivery. They were so careful with our belongings and went the extra mile to be sure everything was placed where it needed to go. Great company and great performance.

Agility Van Lines - Worst Move Ever!! We've moved 13 times in the past 27 years due to military and government service. This was by far the worst experience ever and I'm writing this to hopefully prevent someone else from going through what we went through.

Best experience I’ve had with a moving company (and my family has moved a LOT)!
They could not have been more helpful from the start. John, our sales person, was very personable and every time I called or emailed, he remembered our names, and what our special situation was. Because of my father’s illness, and how busy and distracted I can be, I probably did not make it easy for him! I also needed a specific, and possibly inconvenient, date for them to move my father’s condo contents. He really worked with me on that and we got it done.

We recently moved from Boston to Florida, and couldn't have had a better experience with getting all our things shipped through Agility. The guys that picked up everything were the same guys that we met on the other end, they took the time to properly protect everything and move things properly, and even found a way to move some particularly large items up narrow stairs. Everything arrived in perfect condition, and we couldn't have asked for a smoother move. Highly recommend this company if you want a pain free move

I hired Agility after my original movers cancelled on me at the last minute for my long distance move. They were extremely responsive and were able to fit me in almost immediately. I felt that they were very reasonably priced in comparison to other companies did a great job keeping me informed of any delivery updates. I was very impressed with the service I received from Agility Van Lines on my move from Florida to South Carolina. My moving quote was very specific and itemized for the things I was moving. I did not get any surprise charges like "your over cubes" when the moving team arrived like I read about with other carriers. The team that wrapped and picked up my furniture was the same team that delivered my furniture. Gave me two moving quotes for a move from Atlanta Ga., to Greenville, SC. 5 weeks out from my scheduled move, last quote given by Shane Young owner, of $8300. Gave them room by room inventory 3 separate times prior to move. They showed up on day of scheduled move, with a truck slightly larger than the largest uhaul and doubled my price from $8300 to $16,600. After paying for a full pack and move, they left over $6000 of my furnishings on the curb. The following day, I met them at my new house in Greenville where they proceeded to drive off with all my belongings, refusing to unload anything

We had a very bad experience with Agility. Agility was recommended by Home Advisor as being 5 star. I would strongly advise anybody contemplating using Home Advisor to be very cautious of their recommendations. After reading the various reviews my experience was similar to what many are complaining about.
1. The quoted price by John was not the final price. The pick up foreman (Alex) when he saw the volume promptly added an additional 33% to the original price and then wanted a bank guaranteed check.

DO NOT hire this company!!! All the negative reviews here are correct! Moved from Cleveland to Florida. They came six days later then scheduled. We had emptied refrigerator, packed coffee pot, gave away beds, etc. We had to borrow air mattresses to sleep on and buy coffee in the morning and all takeout food! They damaged my piano! When I showed them, he took a picture and said "It looks like something was on top of it." Why on earth would you put something on top of it???!!!! DO NOT hire Agility Van Lines! We had a terrible experience, and it is not over a year later. For our interstate move, they finally showed up at 8:30 p.m. to load our furniture in the dark. We were then presented with several lengthy documents to sign while our move was in progress, including insurance options. This is their strategy to intimidate and coerce clients to select the insurance option most beneficial to them so clients can proceed with their move. Excellent service for the delivery team, particularly Jorel, Teddy and Noel. These guys took great care of all my items, and took care to place all of my furniture in new home where i wanted. I would ask for that same group of guys again if i had to move. However, i'm giving 3 stars because of bait and switch tactic. I gave my sales rep a very detailed inventory list with measurements etc, and they gave me a "binding quote". They guaranteed that my price would not go up the day of the move (as i was fearing this tactic), and the sales guy John promised it would not. And sure enough

LIE #1 - John incorrectly assessed our items
RESULT - Truck was too small.
I was on my own to have storage unit shipped to new location. Not an easy task when we're moving 700 miles away. This cost me an additional $2000.

We were moving from NJ to FL and we hired Agility to move the stuff from our old house down to where we live now. Unfortunately, we would not be there to see them get our stuff. So we moved everything we wanted to keep in the house to the garage, and then the new owners would come let the movers in to get our stuff.

Absolutely DO NOT use agility van lines. Had a horrible experience trying to move from Chicago to Richmond. It honestly was such headache and pain to put into a review, but ended with the owner Shane calling my fiancé and saying "we should part ways" THE DAY BEFORE OUR MOVE because we live in a high rise building and needed to give our building notice of when we would need the service elevator. We thankfully were able to schedule a move last minute with Bellhops and couldn't recommend them more. The cheap bid from agility is not worth it. Spend a little more and go somewhere that

This company runs a classic bait and switch operation. They promise you a reasonable price (compared to other long distance movers), and the pickup and delivery dates you need. Then they hit you with huge cost increases just days before your scheduled move ($3,000 above my original estimate). By that point, you have no alternatives. Worse still, they violate their contractual delivery dates. My belongings were supposed to be packed June 28 and out of the house I sold by June 29. Agility didn't complete pack up until June 30, delaying my house sale. They were supposed to deliver my belongings

Recently used this moving company from Ohio to Florida. Moving crew was great....very professional. The excellent rating applies to them !! Thank you!!
