We are Portland-based painting contractors specializing in residential and commercial painting. I grew up in a contractor's home. When I was a child, my mother begged my father to take me to work, so he put me in the truck and away we went. After many years of watching him work, helping haul debris or wood, frame a new wall or build a deck, I began to appreciate work. I didn't realize it until later in life but my father had shown me how to work hard, be honest, and own your mistakes.
We will protect your furnishings, floors, plants, patios, vehicles and anything else that shouldn't get painted. All surfaces are sanded, caulked, filled and primed as needed. No corners will be cut on surface preparation, nor by skipping a second coat of paint when one is needed. Also, extra care is always given to be neat and clean throughout the entire job.
We are asking our local community to submit stories of a non-profit or people they know who are in need of interior painting but can't afford it due to some difficulties in life that they may have experienced. Once these stories are submitted, the ESP Painting owners will select a few candidates and our painters will help us choose this year's winner.
But if the paint colors inside seem too garish or too bland, then your home isn't doing its job! No worries-we will help you choose the perfect colors to achieve that perfect sense of calm you're looking for. We will fix all the nicks and scrapes as well as clean and paint your walls, ceilings and woodwork to bring the luster back to your haven.

Jeff was the consummate professional. We scheduled the work almost a year in advance (because of COVID and Oregon has a very short window to do exterior painting), he generally kept to the timeline despite the current workforce challenges, and he communicated regularly. The cost was reasonable and the work was professionally done. We didn't know what stain to use and Jeff figured it out. The house looks fabulous! I would highly recommend ESP Painting.

I highly recommend ESP painting. Jeff's communication from day one was exceptional. He was able to produce a quote within minutes of seeing the house. We booked in early January for a spring exterior paint job. The crew was friendly, punctual and meticulous. If I had a second house to paint I would have already booked them. I had a fairly large project and needed a painter that could get the job done (done well) & on schedule.
We were in the middle of a full house remodel & on top if needing walls, trim & ceilings done thru-out I also needed a Painter I could trust with my new kitchen cabinets. Trust me when I say - Not all painters

Extremely pleased with high quality work and reasonable bid. ESP repainted the majority of the interior of my home including built-ins, moldings, ceilings, closets, etc. They were excellent with communicating anything that was unclear and ensured I knew exactly what was occurring. The project stayed on time and was completed during the window we agreed upon. They are top notch from the top down - all very friendly and worked professionally with integrity. Plan on having them out in the spring to do the exterior. Very impressed with this company and highly recommend.

I cannot say enough about how professional, attentive to the owners needs and courteous Jeff and his crew are. We had a 30 yr old stairway railing, posts and skirts stripped and painted. We had an issue with the color match and the ESP team spent 3 days matching and making sure that the color was correct and matched the rest of the hallway. The paint job on the bedroom was absolutely better than we could have ever imagined. The quality of the work by Manuel and the paint crew was beyond belief. Thank you ESP Painting.

Jeff was awesome to work with. They were not the least expensive bid we got, but I'm super picky and a perfectionist and I felt that Jeff was too. He did not disappoint. Overall it was a very smooth process, even though we had a few miscommunications and some weather delays. Jeff always went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. This is our second time using ESP for an indoor painting project. It was a simple bedroom and bath. Jeff was quick to get me an estimate, schedule and complete the project. From start to finish it took 1 week. The actual painting took a few hours. As before, perfect lines, even coverage and very nice employees. Now I'm looking for more walls I can have Jeff and his team paint for me.

We found ESP Painting through word of mouth and they did such an amazing job! We moved into a new house with cabinet colors we despised but figured it was cheaper to repaint than other options we had. Our home was in desperate need of exterior painting, a very big job that included extensive scraping, lots of old wood windows, and siding repair. We couldn't be happier with our decision to have ESP do the work.
