Tim Pruett and his crew did a super job of trimming three large trees on my property--two live oaks and one pecan tree. He clarified what I wanted done before the work began. The guys worked diligently for two days and remained responsive and cheerful in spite of 99 degree weather. The trees looked wonderful when they finished. The crew cleaned up carefully before they left. I couldn't have asked for a better job. If you want the best, call Tim at American Tree Service.

I have used these guys 3-4 times over the 7 years I've lived here and they do a very complete and outstanding job. This last time they couldn't get to me right away but I had a couple branches hitting my house. Tim arranged for one of his guys to come out right away to get those off, which was nice because we had a storm last night and they would probably have damaged my home. Tim and his guys have been doing this for years (1 of the guys has done my trees for 7 yrs) and are good about cleaning their equipment well and spraying cuts with paint, all to prevent the spread of disease.

The first thing you should know is that American Tree Service has a whopping 450 reviews on AngiesList, with a grade of A. With so many happy customers, it's a mystery as to why there were none here on Yelp before I wrote this one. I asked the owner, Tim, about that when he was here, but it was a mystery to him, too.
Anyway, the work: Tim removed a medium-sized tree that had fallen over the fence and into the neighbor's yard for $600. He then spent half an hour walking the property (double-lot) with me to give the assessment and proposal I requested for maintenance on the good trees

DO NOT DO NOT USE THIS TREE COMPANY. We arranged for these guys to come out to our house and do a big tree trimming job. First, they were a no show on the first. Didn't even call or anything. We had to call them. That should of been our first sign. They proceeded to tell us they had an emergency tree removal that fell on an old ladies house. We figured ok, that is a pretty good reason, but they still should of called. We gave them the benefit of the doubt and the next day they did show. We thought great finally getting our trees trimmed. Well the deal was they were going to trim
