My first encounters with the Clark Co. went well. The office staff were helpful and efficient. On the day of the move the truck arrived an hour early, when I mentioned this to the movers they were pleassant and curtious and waited in the driveway until we were ready. The movers were pleasant, helpful and polite throughout the move. I signed all paperwork, which was not clearly explained to me. The insurance I signed off on was for 30 cents per pound. No one mentions that if you think about that it means when one of the very nice guys breaks a 10 pound torchiere lamp, (replacement cost being $75

The guys at Clark/mayflower were very professional and careful. Loved Chris! He knew what he was doing! Hunter was quiet and polite. Nick was strong as a bull and had lots of energy. No issues with them at all. I would highly recommend them. Mike the director was very sweet and professional!

The two movers arrived on time, very organized, thoughtful, professional, polite and careful. Where the client moved to WAS NOT SET UP for ease of delivery! The FAIRPORT Baptist Home does not have a service elevator to move furniture. It took three x’s as long going from upper floor to 1st floor where the resident moved to! Was horrible and never a complaint from the movers ! They were THE BEST!! Would recommend in a heart beat❣️

Clark Moving and Storage was excellent. They took great care with the packing - even noticing that some of their moving blankets smelled “musty” and replaced them - and handled my belongings with great care. Jackie was in touch throughout and kept me informed. The move went better than expected and was delivered on time (first day of delivery spread). Chris was good to work with both as a packer and driver. On delivery day the hired extras on site were conscientious and worked hard in the heat. Everything went as expected and I couldn’t be more pleased. Highly recommend. Well done!

The lead on the day of the move was Brandon. He is a true blessing! His attention to detail and knowledge of how to best move our family treasures was so appreciated. In addition, he was a pleasure to work with and showed such care for each piece he was moving.

UPDATE 2: We now have a tentative delivery date for a week from now. Assuming that occurs, that puts us nearly 2 full weeks out from our initial delivery window, and 30 full days out from our initial pickup.
I will say that the local Rochester office has been helpful and responsive, but Mayflower corporate has been a massive disappointment. I have a relative doing a similar long-distance move who contracted with a small, local company. Their items were picked up on Tuesday and delivered on Friday. From the 2 quotes we received, we decided on Clark's. Mike DeGoey came out to do the evaluation and was great to deal with. He was complete in his explanation of the paperwork and there was no "bait and switch" with the process. He was thorough in his estimate and the information he gave was factual and in the end everything we were told ACTUALLY occurred.
Jackie really does stay in contact throughout the move, keeping us updated along the way. She's great to deal with

I was pleased with this company. The representatives who coordinated my at home quote and the whole move were helpful and answered all the question I had.
The movers I had on both ends of my move were very professional and friendly. They were quick and efficient.
The only issue I had was that one item was ruined during the move or storage of my goods. However, I was quickly and fully reimbursed the damage.

I used Clark Moving and Storage/Mayflower (in conjunction with Continental Moving in Seattle, WA) to move my mother from Seattle to Rochester. I had read countless horror stories before selecting a moving company, to the point that I was expecting something...many things...to go wrong. We had an absolutely fantastic experience! Mike at Clark coordinated the move, even though it originated in Seattle. Jackie called me every step of the way to update me on arrival times and to see how things were going. I selected Clark Moving/Mayflower on the advice of my realtor. The estimator came and walked through two houses for an interstate move to combine two households into one, with a side trip to a storage locker. The estimate was clean and clear, and when I decided that a less furniture was coming, the estimate was updated immediately. We packed ourselves. On moving day, a crew came to my house, loaded up the big truck, got a U-Haul because of space limitations at the other house, and they were done with two houses in four hours.

Our move went well. Staff were professional and made sure all questions were answered. The driver , Tom, that picked up our household goods was great. He coordinated the actual move from our house expertly. We were quite pleased. Unfortunately he was not the driver that delivered our goods. I have had several cross country moves. Clarks did a great job

Ummmmm....ha. about this place. BF decided to move home to Chicago in May so I was nominated to be his assistant and schedule some consultations for the movers. I scheduled a couple and he decided to choose Clarke due to the interaction with the Admin/coordinator and the estimator gentleman. Fast-forward to the actual move...thats a different story. 5stars for Michael was great during the walk through. He was prompt & professional. Very thorough & answered all my questions. He was very prompt with mailing me things & getting back to me about anything!
1.5 stars for Randy who owns the tractor, drives the truck & runs the show. We expected them in the morning the 1st day... but they showed up at 420pm the first night & it was just 2 guys to do the whole job. Took longer than the brokers told us it would, we had to change hotel reservations for a day later & new people moving into our house were upset that we weren&apos
