I called AFEDAIR after looking at all of the great reviews on Yelp... I am glad I did. Alex came the next day, on time and very personable / professional. He checked our furnace issue and made a few adjustments and suggestions for us to think about for the future. He wasn't going to charge me, but I insisted he take something for his time. I know that I will call him in the future for some work we need soon.

I hired Alex and A FEDAIR in May, 2021, for a new AC install and furnace replacement in Morgan Hill. While Alex's quote was not the lowest, it was still competitive, and I found his insight in the process, both as a contractor, as well as discussing permitting, to be worth the additional cost. Alex was onsite every day during install, and coordinated the Home Energy Rating System (HERS) test and permit finalizing with the city. His communication throughout was consistent, and helpful. I would highly recommend A FEDAIR anyone looking for an HVAC install in the the South Bay in the future

A/C stopped working in the heat wave. . .I called over a dozen companies trying to get someone out to fix it, and A FedAir A/C & Heating was the ONLY company that responded in minutes and scheduled me in the same day (Saturday). When our AC stopped working, Alex offered to check the system and set us up with an appointment for the following day. When he removed our filter--which was in dire need of replacing--the AC began to work. Since he said there seemed to be nothing wrong with our system, he did not charge us for the consultation! Unfortunately, the AC broke down again the next day, and Alex agreed to come back to check what the problem might be. He found out that our capacitor needed replacing and luckily had brought one of the correct size with him.

Alex from A Fedair installed A/C for our house this summer, the job is done quickly and the A/C works great. Later when we suspect the installation might mess up our doorbell power supply, Alex came immediately the very next day, carefully investigated the situation, and showed us the problem came from the door bell itself and has nothing to do with the A/C installation. I really like Alex's service.

I tried to install a Nest thermostat in my home and it's not as "easy to install" as they advertise. that being said, I lost power to both my first and second floor thermostats. After trying to get a repair done through several "experts" (PG&E, an electrician, a Google Installer) I am so Happy I had reached out to Alex. He was able to find out what was wrong and fix my HVAC unit within 2hours which is a lot more than I got from anyone else. Not only do I now have 2 working Nest thermostats but I have a better understanding of how my very complicated HVAC unit was installed

Our 4 year old Nest thermostats stopped working. We tried trouble shooting, but failed. We called A Feddair. Alex came the next day. Was able to fix the wiring and got all our thermostats working again. Service charge was very fair. Also, he wore a mask, respected our no-shoes-inside-the-house, and was polite. We will definitely be using A Fedair for future services!!

From the reviews I read here, I don't think it was Alex that came and looked at our furnace. The guy that showed wasn't curtiuos. Not a hey, hi or how are you doing, kinda weird character. First tried to recommend a new wall thermostat until I checked it myself and found it wasn't properly turned on. Once the furnace started running and only one burner was lit, then boom the second one lit, which is the problem my wife called for, he looked puzzled. Then began to say I think it's this repeatedly at different components, then followed by I know someone who works on furnaces like

I really appreciate that Alex and his team consistently show up when they say they're going to show up. HVAC replacement system works great (furnace, Condensor and coil)! Our 35 year old compressor unit broke down after serving very well. I researched and called 5 different companies. Alex was among the first to respond and he asked for pictures and video of the unit to see the issue. He diagnosed the problem and suggested a replacement. Our air conditioner stopped working on the hottest day this year- awake all night from the heat dreading to hear what it was going to Cost us to fix it . The 7,000 ac unit was nearish to the end of its estimated shelf life and I was resigned to have to replace it. I called, they picked up the phone, got my address, came when they said they would that day , wore a mask , kept their distance, charged us a mere 375 to fix a part and then left. I was expecting thousands of dollars out the door and what we got was fair price and good service. The ac works great!
