Reaco Heating and Air Conditioning is a privately owned company, founded in 1995 in San Jose, CA. We specialize in both commercial and residential work in the bay area and have capably served many contractors, developers and home-owners over the course of our 25 year history. We specialize in commercial work including retirement homes, assisted living facilities, hotels, retail, and parking garage ventilation systems.
We offer design/build services for each of these project types. We also have extensive expertise in residential work including apartment complexes, condominiums, townhouses, tract housing, and high-end peninsula custom homes. Alongside of our heating and air conditioning services, we pride ourselves on our state-of-the-art sheet metal fabrication services.
Our sheet metal shop allows us to provide timely materials without compromising on quality.

Steve and his crew did a replacement of two heaters and two a/c units, ran new thermostat wires, enlarged the plenums, and added an additional register.
These guys are great. They keep things organized and clean up at the end of the day.
They went beyond the call of duty when there was an issue with the City trying to obtain the sign off for the permit. The guy for the City shows up without a ladder in order to access the attic for inspection. Next day a guy from Reaco shows up at the same time as the City guy in order to set up the ladder for him. The City guy says he has no time to wait

Honesty, integrity, reliable, and professional...these words truly are the backbone of this company. Yes, i happen to be the brother-in-law of the owner...but i'm also an electrician with a borderline neurotic attention to detail (this is done this way so this won't happen, etc). It's been 8 yrs and counting since Steve upgraded our furnace/condenser and balanced our system, and regular replacement of our return filters is the extent of all i've been doing since.

We went to multiple heating and air conditioning companies in the area and got quotes that ranged from "do nothing" to "re do all duct work and new air conditioner". We had no idea who we should trust and so we called Steve at the recommendation of a friend and Steve came out and after a thorough look at our property gave us a prompt and reasonable quote and got the work done quickly and they completely took care of the issue. So happy with the work they did. We will definitely use them again.
