Seabright Solar was founded by John McGuire in 2014 after working in the pool solar industry throughout the Bay Area since 1998. Over the last 20 years, he has designed solar electric systems, solar hot water systems for homes, and swimming pool solar heating systems. John and his team currently specialize in swimming pool solar heating.
Swimming pool solar heating is the most efficient and cost-effective way to heat your pool. By harnessing free energy from the sun, you can often double or triple the length of your swim season with pool solar from Seabright Solar. We professionally install the most efficient and reliable solar panel solutions in the most aesthetically pleasing manner possible.
We offer a variety of installation options, including roof-mount, ground-mount, and arbor or trellis-mount. On average, a solar pool heating system pays for itself in two or three summers. During our free solar evaluation we can present the different options available for your needs and give you a quote so you can begin enjoying your warm pool.

The pump that was installed was not capable of utilizing them all to their full potential. We reluctantly had them come back this year to give the system a one over and turn everything back on. They charged us and assured us all was well. The system was turned on electronically but they failed to open the actuator valve that allowed the water to flow to the coils. Basically the system has remained off after they assured us it was on. We called them
