These guys are affordable, personable, friendly, helpful, punctual and my whole experience was fantastic all around!! This was the 1st time I'd used 6th Man movers, so I was a little nervous but I had read so many 4 and 5 star reviews on them, plus they came recommended by some friends of mine! I booked my move about a month and a half in advance, so closer to moving day I needed to add on a 3rd mover to the 2 man crew, and get them to bring me some garment boxes, and a few more boxes and packing paper to help me pack the rest of my kitchen. Three guys loaded a 26' moving truck that we rented from U-Haul. We had a little too much stuff to fit into the truck, but they did not leave a single cubic foot unoccupied. I'm stunned how tightly they managed to pack everything in. Even some incredibly awkward items were Tetris'ed together and completely secured. On top of this, their communication was top notch. Unlike a lot of other movers, they are using modern booking and communication software to make organizing the move MUCH easier for customers, with estimates, payments, and invoices all handled in a super-professional way. Davey and Tremaine showed up early and worked hard until the job was done. It took a little longer than we were originally quoted, but that was an issue on the quoting side not the crew. They hustled and got our apartment moved as quick as possible. They took care to wrap our furniture and load all the boxes efficiently and safely. All of our items arrived intact and in the condition they left in. Next time I move, I would use 6th Man and would love to work with Davey and Tremaine again. By far the easiest and best moving experience we have ever had.

Other than a challenge reaching someone over the T-day weekend to say we were delayed due to a breakdown, we're very pleased with 6th Man Movers. From making arrangements to the three different two-man crews, all were professional, courteous and pleasant. The men lifting and hauling carried everything to the correct spot and their levity made their job and ours much less stressful. I wouldn't hesitate to use this company again.

Mike G and his partner took great care of our things when we moved from a large home to a 2 bed apt. It helped tremendously that we had taken the time to pack things ourselves, unlike some people. The guys were very appreciative, especially since it was hot and humid that day. But they got the job done, quickly and with zero damage to anything.

Called for a quote, did a video inventory, booked the date and Markins and Markinston (aka the twins) showed up on time, properly prepped everything and worked fast. They were extremely gracious when my apt leasing office had messed up my elevator reservation. The best part was how upbeat they were. Unloaded quickly as well and made sure things were as I wanted them. This was a long distance move and the 2nd time I used 6th Man. Prior local move went well and both times the crews were consummate professionals. The office staff was good to work with - very responsive.

Would definitely recommend this company! Our team of three, David, Dewey and Jackie, were incredibly professional. We were moving into a new construction home, and they literally did not leave a signal scuff. I don’t think I have ever had a group of movers take that much care with my belongings or home. Great price too for such a high level of service!

I had a great crew from 6th Man Movers. Showed up at their scheduled time, were courteous and very competent! They explained the process and then proceeded to treat our things like they owned them. I would gladly recommend them! As a matter of fact, I found them because a coworker had used them 2 weeks earlier with the same excellent results!

6th Man was amazing! They showed up on time, and were very friendly and trustworthy. The move was super smooth, they did not waste any time, and they worked very quickly, but also very carefully. Not one item was scratched, and they wrapped up all of our furniture! They communicated great traveling from one location to the other (we moved 2 apartments into 1), and were just so easy to work with. I HIGHLY recommend them for your move! I know I will 100% be using them again when I move next.

They moved me a short distance and it was the worst move I've ever had. They damaged so many things and did damage to my new house as well! They paid me for the damages but they insisted on removing negative reviews as part of the reimbursement. I would never use them to move anything again. The move was poorly executed on every front...

Where to start? We had reserved a move with this company over a month before our move date. Two days before the move, they requested a video walkthrough to go over everything we needed move. During the zoom meeting, we reviewed every piece of furniture, every room, and discussed our dogs and cats with them.

Had the most amazing experience with these guys! Moving forward I wouldn't use anybody but 6th man movers. The communication was great, they were on time, they did the job efficiently, they were kind and respectful and they really took care with all my belongings and were extra careful with my new hardwood floors. The price was more than reasonable too! I'm super grateful I chose this team to move me into my new home.

Tyson (Owner) answered the phone and was one of the nicest people you could speak with, very knowledgeable in his business and totally reassuring in all aspects, the price was great and if it had been higher I still would have probably used him just due to phone convo! He was seriously that nice! He and his helper TJ showed up promptly, messaged when they were on their way and did an amazing job of wrapping and loading of furniture...they agreed to go by another location to grab a few more pieces of furniture. This is a mixed review because I booked 6th man movers for my boyfriend as well as for myself. One move on Thursday, one on Friday.
The crew that moved my boyfriend on Thursday did a fantastic job. He lived in a 2 bedroom apartment on a 2nd floor and also had a garage, packed full. There was one stop in between, to drop off items and pick up items, before getting to our final destination. The crew was efficient, polite, and quick. His total move was around 4 hours.

I loved these movers! It was a local move and we packed everything up ourselves. There were 3 guys to move a single level 1250 sq. foot house just a few miles to a new home (2 floors). They move quickly but not carelessly. They didn't bump into walls or hit light fixtures or drop anything. Nothing was broken. They really did a great job and I would hire them again in a heartbeat! Make sure you tip them because they really do an excellent job of moving your stuff and moving stuff really isn't fun.
They all had great attitudes, honest, and were friendly. I highly recommend this business
