Bolt Movers was founded by two brothers, Stephen and Patrick Bolton, after helping a few close friends and family with local moves in Auburn, AL. After hearing complaints about other moving companies, they quickly realized they had a niche and began to grow their clientele. Delivering excellent service for local and long distance moves, the positive referrals spread and Bolt Movers expanded very quickly!
James is from Birmingham, AL, and has lived in Nashville since 2014. He's working on his degree in Physical Education from The Middle Tennessee State University and loves traveling, trying different and new cuisines, and taking beautiful pictures. James has been a Bolt Mover for almost five years and is an excellent example of the success that can happen when you value and take pride in our business!

Had another moving company cancel two days before our office move was scheduled. Contacted Abigail and Mariah -they got us on the schedule and we were able to move out on time. I can't thank them enough for their quick response and making this happen even with a short notice. Also, the movers- Sebastian, Samson, Josh, Sam, Rashawn were fantastic. I will be using Bolts Movers again.

Bolt Movers did an excellent job of getting my daughter moved. I noticed a number of moving companies in the Auburn Al area. I based my choice on the company reviews and I was glad I did! The move went smoothly. Nothing was damaged. Movers were on time. Their pricing is competitive. Everything was handled professionally. Definitely a company worth hiring!

My wife and I have moved several times. We have had quite a few friends move in the past year and all of us have horror stories...theft, unprofessionalism, broken and damaged items with zero reimbursement...we were not looking forward to dealing with all of this again.
A team member from Bolt stopped by the house, said he heard we were moving and… dropped off a gift and some information about Bolt. No heavy sales pitch, no invasive time wasting...just a tape gun and some tape, along with info about Bolt.
We had no plans on using them, however we were impressed with what we read and decided

Mr. Primm and Matt. Were AMAZING. they were professional on time and knowledgeable. They maintained a high level of professionalism even after making multiple trips from the top floor and back up again always working diligently, being courteous and gaining the attention of neighbors for how well they communicated and worked together. This is the best company I have ever used and will be recommending them to all of old and new neighbors. They did not disappoint. We had several things damaged during the move and they didn't mention that anything had happened. We continue to find that they ignored labels on boxes and put things in the incorrect places. Didn't reassemble anything that they took apart without someone telling them. really a poor experience when compared to 2 men and a truck.

Movers were very kind and helpful. However, it's important that you update the company on what must be moved (less or more), so that the quote is updated as well, including how many movers are needed. They sent an extra mover to help things move along faster even though he wasn't a part of the original quote. But, because the total was still within the largely wide original quote, no adjustment to the cost could be made.

Perhaps I am the first to give negative remarks regarding this company, but I feel it necessary as I work in sales myself and was highly disappointed in the level of integrity and professionalism displayed by Bolt Movers upper management. The rep that viewed my home in order to quote was very professional and courteous. My husband took him through our entire home room by room while he photoed every possible item to be packed and moved. I received my quote and explained that the amount was a good price and accepted the terms happily. I now regret the information I gave regarding price as they came

I can’t say enough good things about them. Sam and DJ moved us into our new house and they did not bump or touch a wall. Took there shoes off before carrying furniture across my carpet. Incredible moving experience. They also do a great job unloading my containers of antiques at my shop. Thank you for a great experience and all your hard work.
