Bauer Heating and Cooling was established in 1972 as a residential and commercial HVAC contractor. Bauer Heating and Cooling started as a self-proprietorship with no employees operated solely by the owner and one service van. The original owner, Don Bauer, retired in 2000 and sold the company. Since then, the new owners have added a refrigeration division to make Bauer Heating and Cooling a full service HVAC-R heating and cooling company.

They installed the Daikin Mini Split system on the house we bought in Cascade. The system was installed in 2017. We called them in early October to have the system checked out and they said it was fine and charged us $800 for a service call. It has never worked right and now they're saying they won't fix it or give us our money back. They've strung us along for 8 weeks saying they'd fix it and it's under warranty and parts are on order. We about froze. Now they won't do anything saying we aren't the original owners and thus no warranty. Why didn't they say so in the first place? I wouldn't recommend

Today, I saw a post from someone in need of AC service and they were looking for suggestions as to what company's might be recommended. As it turned out, we have a rental property that lost AC power yesterday so I was grateful to glean some recommendations from that post. We contacted Bauer Heating & Cooling because they were highly recommended and… within hours our problems had been solved by their service representative. With the heat issues we have all been challenged with during this week we were so grateful for the wonderful customer service and quick response of this company. Definitely

I inquired about having my unit either replaced or serviced and brought up to shape, I paid 65 dollars to have the technician come out and tell me a few things that were wrong with it. The technician was not prompt. He waited till the next day to come out rather than coming out that same day, because he wanted to be off
By 12 that day for his own personal stuff, so my house was put off until the following day. So I paid 65 dollars to have him come out and look at my unit and then they were supposed to send another guy out to do the estimating and decide whether or not I needed to replace my unit

My ac unit wasn’t working and I thought it was a specific issue and Jerry came out and knew right away what the problem was. He fixed it in no time at all and saved me over a grand. Not to mention Bauer was cheaper than any other company for a service call. Jerry was very knowledgeable about the system and he even explained everything and showed me how it all worked. I got very lucky with this company and will be using their services again! I am extremely impressed and highly recommend Bauer to others!

Renewable Energy NW LLC and Bauer Heating & Cooling installed a solar thermal system this week for us. Will cut my electricity at least 50%, which is awesome since we are all electric! This covers HVAC and the hot water heater. This team rocked it and since I work in the construction industry, that is a huge compliment from me! A great team of hard working guys that were personable and professional and got my job done early. Plus with the tax credits and incentives, it was a no brainer to do this system. Thank you!

We had our unit serviced about 5 months ago and we thought we were paying for them to service and clean it.... make sure everything was running good and working. Properly maintaining it (we thought). We know that anything can happen and it can break the next day etc. But that’s why we paid almost 500.00 to have it cleaned and serviced (meaning checking all the parts and making sure everything was looking good). Anyway fast forward to now. We have a massive flood situation and water damage in our closet, the kitchen floor is coming up, the laundry room grout around the tile is wet and coming up
