What a great experience!
The customer service is the best of the best. They really take the time to relay all information from product design and materials to timing and delivery. The LAX series is great. We are enjoying our new wall mounted desk and looking forward to receiving the storage bench.
Highly recommend this local based business as you will not be disappointed!

I really appreciate this place for its solid wood furniture.
This stuff runs around the same price as Pottery Barn or Crate & Barrel, but the construction is solid wood (butcher block style). With great oil finishes which will age and wear well over time.
Not to mention these are original, relevant designs being created right here in Venice/ Mar Vista! The showroom often gives discounts on floor models!
Minus one star because I'm hoping for one more style option besides LAX and PCH series. Maybe they could borrow some designs from some of their custom commercial projects???

Ordered the LAX Series dining table with 6 chairs -
The were delivered fast, and they look amazing
The very first time I sat on one chair, the leg separated from the seat - chair broken in less than two seconds.
My old chairs (Ikea) lasted ten years and cost $45 each.
This MASH chair was $300 and lasted less than two seconds. I am understandably pretty upset about this. It may be coincidental that I sat on the 'only' defective chair in the bunch first. Or it may be that the quality of this very beautiful furniture is terrible.

TERRIBLE! Ordered the Lax 3X Shelf with Base from a third party seller (it was shipped directly from Mash Studios). Took over 2 weeks to receive the shelf, then when it arrived it was SOAKED in the linseed oil that they use as a wood finish. I called Mash directly to explain the problem and was told to just wipe it with rags and let it sit for a day or two. Wiped the shelf four times a day (I was told it only needed to be wiped once) for four days (twice as long as I was told to let it sit), until eventually it felt dry. Then, we put books and other items on the shelf. Less than 5 hours later,

Limited selection, but everything is really beautifully made, and relatively inexpensive for what you get. A strange combination of universal and "designed," you could make nearly everything in this store work in most spaces, and the designers and salespeople really go the extra mile to make sure you're happy.
You really owe it to yourself to check this place out.
